Reese Witherspoon 'Lucky' to Have Sexy Scenes With Robert Pattinson

Reese Witherspoon gushed and blushed over her "sexy" co-star in 'Water for Elephants' on Sunday, telling PopEater at the big NYC premiere that she didn't care that Robert Pattinson was under the weather when they filmed their sex scene together.

"Well so many people are saying 'Oh, well you guys had this sex scene and he was sick.' And I'm like even if this guy's sick, I'm so lucky, I can't even tell you!" the radiant and newly married Reese told us on the red carpet. "Not only is he super sexy and obviously incredibly handsome, but he's a really lovely, nice person."

A while back, Reese told MTV News that the sex scene wasn't "appealing" or "pleasant" because Rob had a runny nose at the time.

Midtown in New York City came to a standstill as thousands of (mostly) screaming girls closed down the sidewalk on 54th street across from the famous Ziegfeld Theatre. The 'Twilight' actor arrived over an hour early to greet fans -- one of them admitted to having gotten in line at 6 PM the night before!

The Pattinson faithful were there on a mission. "I want everyone to see what an amazing actor he is," beamed one determined fan.

When Robert found out fans were camping out in the pouring rain, sources tell me he sent over pizza and donuts to make their long wait a little more pleasant. Reese, for her part, arrived about 30 minutes after her co-star and also signed autographs and took photos with fans before walking the red carpet and entering the theater.

We also caught up with co-star Christolph Waltz, who said he was thrilled to have worked with "two grown-up, challenging actors ... and this is exactly as it should be."

'Water for Elephants' director Francis Lawrence joked when asked who was more difficult to work with: Rob or the elephant. "Definitely Rob. The elephant was easy, are you kidding me?"

I later learned that one superstar slipped in through the backdoor just as the film started. Rob's lady and 'Twilight' costar Kristen Stewart was seen getting out of a black SUV and looking hot in a strapless dress before joining her man inside!

I don't get it. Am I missing something? I don't find him attractive at all, but the ladies around me are just crazy over him. What's going on?

I think Rob is hot in a dirty sort of way; much like how Mickey Rourke was back in the day. A little unkempt, slightly dangerous, absolutely naughty. BTW I am a 51 yr old woman, he is attractive in his own way. And guys never really see why their girls or others find him or other actors sexy, they are not meant to!! lol

Reese is very LUCKY to be in a major motion picture, let alone be in a movie with ROBERT PATTINSON. Shes definetly fallen to D list at best. This movie may keep her in the news for another year at best, then its OVER for Reese, FINALLY
