These days, it's pretty much impossible to keep a song off the web once fans catch wind that it exists -- see Lady Gaga's 'Judas' for another recent example -- so when photos of Beyonce on the set of her latest music video turned up online last week, it was really only a matter of time before her new tune, 'Girls (Who Run the World),' found its way onto the interweb.
Produced by Diplo and Switch, the aggressive track samples heavily from Major Lazer's 'Pon De Floor' and finds B singing the praises of ladies who are "smart enough to make these millions, strong enough to bare the children, then get back to business."
Listen and tell us what you think in the comments:
Late last month, Diplo told PopEater that working with Beyonce was a surreal experience. He said, "During this last year, every day has been another weird thing happening like, 'What's going on?'"
The song is reportedly the lead single from B's as-yet-untitled fourth solo studio album.
Beyonce is notoriously secretive when it comes to her tunes and is probably less than thrilled that the track leaked online. Francis Lawrence, who is helming the video for 'Girls,' admitted as much about the leak of photos from the set. "She would probably have me shot if I said anything," he told MTV. "Some stuff spilled out, but she wasn't happy about it, so I've been sworn to secrecy."
He did, however, say, "It is a fantastic song, so I really hope that song catches for her, and I think the video's gonna be really fun and cool and different for her."
So true! She is so over-rated! Can't sing, can't dance but has been propped up and made to appear to be this great talent. Put her in front of an audience with just a microphone and no back up singers, you'll see the real thing and it's not pretty. 50% talent and 50% hype!
I was just going to say the same thing . amerikans will buy most any trash today . She has a pretty face and 0 talent . Thats all amerikans care about is the pretty face . I go to the gym and they play all this garbage like her alleged music on satellite radio . Its trash music . People dont know any better . Its all they have
Can we say, GARBAGE? This garbage didn't leak, it was purposely put out there to see what kind of response it would get. Now that she knows that we think it sucks there will be a big improvement before it's release.
Wow girl. You are so light. This "thing" you are doing to your skin, cant be a good thing. Not really worth it in the long run. Better think about this..
I'm not loving her new song. It's all MF this and n-word that. It's not even in a good context, more like those words are just being thrown around casually without rhyme or reason. Sorry, but I don't think that's showing how women can be powerful leaders or "rule the world." The first key to not being disrespected by others is to stop disrespecting yourself. Much of her solo career is marked by fake beats, unsingable melodies, yelling, and noise. B really can sing and dance, so this is just too bad. I think she's capable of FAR better.
This is horrible. Too much going on. Not checking for Beyonce in 2011/12 unless she starts to really sing like she know she can. Don't dumb down your voice.
i never realized how not talented she was until i saw Dreamgirls, Hudson showed her how it's done and her poor singing voice really was obvious, not all that talented just got lucky.
Yes, her acting needs a little work... true. But other than that Beyoncé has dominated the music industry for over a decade. Being a hater won't change that. And for the record, they toned back Beyoncé;s voice in Dreamgirls. The movie was suppose be more like The Surpreme's story. Diana Ross didn't have the biggest voice, but yet because of her beauty she shined more than the others. If you listen to Beyoncé's original version of Listen, anyone that's not a hater can see that there's a major difference in vocal capabilities from when she's performing in the movie. :)
The song is ok, sounds like typical Beyonce. A good song for me to work out to... but @Crys the cursing is not part of the song, that was added by whoever leaked the song as their watermark...
I LOVE Beyonce, I LOVE her singing. This song is CRAP!! And I am putting it mildly. Sorry sweetie but I won't be buying this garbage if you release it.
What a silly mommy! Katie Holmes takes Suri into the water in her clothes as the two spend the afternoon at the beach in Miami. More of Today's Hottest Photos

I am not a fan by any means, but to say she has no talent is a blind statement. The girl can sing and dance like not many other can.
