These days, it's pretty much impossible to keep a song off the web once fans catch wind that it exists -- see Lady Gaga's 'Judas' for another recent example -- so when photos of Beyonce on the set of her latest music video turned up online last week, it was really only a matter of time before her new tune, 'Girls (Who Run the World),' found its way onto the interweb.
Produced by Diplo and Switch, the aggressive track samples heavily from Major Lazer's 'Pon De Floor' and finds B singing the praises of ladies who are "smart enough to make these millions, strong enough to bare the children, then get back to business."
Listen and tell us what you think in the comments:
Late last month, Diplo told PopEater that working with Beyonce was a surreal experience. He said, "During this last year, every day has been another weird thing happening like, 'What's going on?'"
The song is reportedly the lead single from B's as-yet-untitled fourth solo studio album.
Beyonce is notoriously secretive when it comes to her tunes and is probably less than thrilled that the track leaked online. Francis Lawrence, who is helming the video for 'Girls,' admitted as much about the leak of photos from the set. "She would probably have me shot if I said anything," he told MTV. "Some stuff spilled out, but she wasn't happy about it, so I've been sworn to secrecy."
He did, however, say, "It is a fantastic song, so I really hope that song catches for her, and I think the video's gonna be really fun and cool and different for her."
Beyonce needs to further her life, she's boring to me! Have a baby, go to school, write a book, produce, direct, scout new talent, take a break and see the world, mentor, but continue to educate yourself, you have the money to take your life to other levels!
The use of the N word is making me hate it. I don't care if (whoever) says it's ok cause they are black, and they don't mind. I do. It's origin is from hate, racism and ignornace. I can't believe that intelligent, sucessful people still thinks it's ok to use it.
It's not her. Whatever person leaked it put in the n-word. Her full version doesn't have Lil' Jon or the other guy on it. That said, the single is mehh. She can really sing, so this is a huge disappointment. She needs to scrap this, and release something else.
Lol if this gets released at all never mind as the lead single then there is an A&R department who needs to be fired as its gotta be one of the least creative annoying crap songs ever. Why would you ever work with dip set? This is god awful not sure who is influencing her but this is a huge fail of a song.
ANYONE WHO SAYS BEYONCE CAN NOT SING IS SIMPLY HATING...that said, this song sucks!!! Check out The Beyonce Experience live concert DVD...there are very few people who can dance and sing...and she does it effortlessly. I am a confident woman and have no problem saying that Beyonce is talented as well as beautiful...as far as the skin-lightening thing...to my knowledge she has always been light brown, and keep in mind that the media is the one who brushes, touches and edits the pictures, not the artists.
Beyonce has zilch zero talent. Her lighter and lighter skin sends a bad message to African American women; you too can be white, if you are as rich as me and can continue to bleach my skin with powerful stuff. I have two beefs ( weel 3) with Beyonce: 1) she KNOWINGLY shook her azz for millions for Ghadafi, who murdered Americans,2) NO talent, 3) she insulted Aretha Franklin and Etta James, two actual African American icons with REAL talent. Go away Be-yonce!
Beyonce does not lighten her skin. Her mother is light skinned. Also, she travels a lot and in some places its sunny and in others it's not, hence the variations. Beyonce can sing and perform that is why she stays on top. However, I really don't care for this song at all. I like the message minus the curse words and I would change the music and the phrasing. To tell the truth, I didn't like single ladies when it first came out and it turned out to be a mega hit, so you never know.
1. Bear: transitive verb, meaning "to give birth to" or "to produce as yield."
2. Bare: transitive verb, meaning "to make bare (uncover)."
Somebody used the wrong word. I don't know if the original lyrics contain the error, or if it is just in this article. I highly doubt Beyonce is singing about girls who are strong enough to uncover the children, then get back to business. That doesn't sound difficult at all, and is pretty nonsensical. She probably means girls who are strong enough to give birth, then return to work. I don't think she's applauding women who "uncover" their children. You should check the accuracy of these lyrics as you have written them here.
GIVE IT UP GIRL YOU ARE DONE! this song seriously sucks! i think she needs to go ahead and hang up singing and focus on her clothing line and other projects.
Crap!! I am surprised of this from Beyonce. I don't need 'music' with MF and the 'n' word in it. That is not music. Must be Jay-Z's terrible influence. So disappointed!
I'm really disappointed with Beyonce's new single. It really is a step or two backwards. She is a very talented singer and can do so much more. The use of the "N" word, cussing and so much disrespect to the women who make millions is a "dis" to women in general as well as all people.
What a silly mommy! Katie Holmes takes Suri into the water in her clothes as the two spend the afternoon at the beach in Miami. More of Today's Hottest Photos

Beyonce and her father destroyed Kelly Rowland's career. It's called KARMA and Beyonce dug her own hole! This is PURE CRAP!

Can NOT wait to see her new selection of wigs!
She reminds me of a very poor imitation of Tina Turner in Mad Max. Girl is NOT Back!

Please see Merriam-Webster for "bear" vs. "bare."
1. Bear: transitive verb, meaning "to give birth to" or "to produce as yield."
2. Bare: transitive verb, meaning "to make bare (uncover)."

The song SUCKS!! However, her body is ALWAYS slamming!
She has not talent, but she is GORGEOUS! She really should just refocus her life in a new direction. Both she and her hubby are millions!!
