We have always wondered how Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie appear to raise such a well mannered brood of six without going completely insane. The answer: nannies, a lot of nannies, an entire basketball team of nannies. PopEater spoke to one applicant for the Pitt-Jolie nanny job who said she was surprised by the strict requirements asked of the family's childcare providers.
Each child, we are told, is given their very own personal nanny, who is required to have a college degree in either education or child development and to speak at least two languages. In the case of Brad and Angie's adopted children from other countries, the nanny is question is expected to speak the language of the child's native land.
The job applicant must also be willing to travel. This is a biggie since the family splits their time between California, New Orleans, France and a number of movie sets on a yearly basis.

I agree! And I know that they are helping children in need, but what i don't get is there are PLENTY of children right here in America that need homes, why don't they help them?????
And you are an authority because????? Miss know it all
Those kids are the luckiest kids on earth, espesically the ones from terrible country's. And how is it that you know that they dont get a lot of time with their parents?
I think it's great that they insist the nannies are educated, lets hope they also teach parenting skills as well, like...you don't have more children than you can afford to spend quality time with! When is the one on one with the parents? Or sitting at the dinner table at night for a family dinner? Excuse me, but I was a working mother with 3 kids, it was all my husband and I could do to get the whole family together and spend quality time with each child. So, I guess I just don't get it...we see the pics, but I'd love to see them at home at dinner, or in the yard playing, something besides constantly traveling!
Those kids never seem happy. The look in their eyes tell a sad story.

How do you know the look in their eyes isn't curiosity instead of sadness? They're children, probably still not accustomed to being followed by an army of people with cameras everywhere they go.
That is the sad part of it, instead of having a college degree they should hire someone who knows how to make a child laugh. There is no sweeter sound then children laughing. Make life as light as you can who knows where it will be by the time those children grow up.
You see photos of kids in People's Magazine and that
makes you in facial expression express? Get real!
they add that in post-production, along with the foreign accents!
Kay.....I agree. I have never seen pictures of them looking happy.
What a rubbish !!!! Those kids look very very happy ......you must be looking at the wrong pictures
I think rhis is fantastic super family ..good luck to all of them ....
Looks like they DO put their kids first. It takes a lot in my opinion to raise 6 kids in any situation. These kids are getting an amazing education just in their travels. they are bilingual, or on their way to being that. And Im no celebrity hound, but I think I did read that one is usually working while the other is not. I could be wrong, but then again it's none of my business. I look at these kids and say "good for them" Imagine if they weren't adopted. They got what all kids deserve, a family.Nice photo, too bad the one little girl I think is blocked by her sibling. And obviously they take their child care very seriously. Strict nanny standards is a must to all who need them. This article is kind of ridiculous now that Im dwelling on it. Leave them alone. This is nobodies business, but the parents.

Don't be ridiculous! There is no racism in the picture. Angelina is often seen with her oldest daughter. There was a time when every pic showed Angie carrying her around. The girl is big now and can't be carried like she used to. Jolie and Pitts are doing a great job. When is the last time you fostered, never mind adopted a child (black, white, asian, or otherwise)? Their kids look happy and confident. They must be doing something right. They work so someone has to watch the kids. What's wrong with giving them the best caretakers as possible. I'm black and poor so I have to work too. While I work, someone has to take care of my kids. The Jolie/Pitts are not on welfare, and neither am I. We (Pitts/Jolie and me) are doing the best we can. They just happen to be able to do more because of their financial status. WTG Angelina and Brad!!!
All you "do gooders", love the world, roses all around type of people make me nervous. Get a grip; the "Pits" don't bother with the kids....the nanny bothers; the cuts, scrapes, tears, tantrums etc., Brand and Angelina are too pretty to be bothered with all the sxxxxt even only one kid brings, neither of them gets their hands dirty.
JMO......
Yeah like Holie and Bad (sH) itt look after their own freak show brood. Freaking creeps. Those kids are screwed.

you sound jelous
you are an idiot, and so what if they have Nannies. Just because a Nanny has a college education does not mean they are not fun Kristy, DUH!
Only the jealous haters post such nonsense. They are awesome parents, their kids seem like norman kids. Why surround them with some possibly abusive half wit Nanny when you can afford the benefit of an educated Nanny.
I just find it funny that they (meaning the people who decided let the truth out....not strictly Brangelina) are now admitting this. I remember a few interviews Angelina gave a few years ago and she said they didn't have nannies. I just hope these kids grow up level headed and not like the typical troubled Hollywood tykes we hear about.

AJ NEVER said they don't have nannies. She has said that the nannies don't ever spend the night because that's family time. But hey, don't let anything silly like facts get in the way of your hate-on!
Notice how the photographer DELIBERATELY did not take the black child's picture. I hate how we seem to be invisible when it suits someone's agenda!
