We have always wondered how Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie appear to raise such a well mannered brood of six without going completely insane. The answer: nannies, a lot of nannies, an entire basketball team of nannies. PopEater spoke to one applicant for the Pitt-Jolie nanny job who said she was surprised by the strict requirements asked of the family's childcare providers.
Each child, we are told, is given their very own personal nanny, who is required to have a college degree in either education or child development and to speak at least two languages. In the case of Brad and Angie's adopted children from other countries, the nanny is question is expected to speak the language of the child's native land.
The job applicant must also be willing to travel. This is a biggie since the family splits their time between California, New Orleans, France and a number of movie sets on a yearly basis.

is that jealousy I hear?
this story is not true. the J-Ps dont have six nannies. they have only two nannies and a lot more bodyguards whom they change from time to time depending on where they are.

Both Brad and Angelina have always said that each child has their own personal nanny and that nanny does not just speak that child's
native language, but is from that area. They felt it was a good idea for the child to have someone always around them who looked liked them. Makes sense to me. There is no "how to book" on how to perfectly raise a child, everyone has to find their own way and these 2 seem to be doing just fine. The children always look healthy and happy.

These two are idiots! By the time these kids are adults the only people they will remember from their childhood are the nannies! Great parents!

Maddox calls his Nanny "Mom". People by the hotel swimming pool the kids were at with the nanny heard Maddox call his Nanny Mom. So funny! I can't wait 10 years to see how this mess plays out!
They all look like poor little ragamuffins.

Wow. I wonder if you people know nearly as many details about your own families as you do about this one....all of whom, I'm just guessing, are total strangers to you.

Amazing that we never see the nannies in any of the photos.
How do they do that? If I could have afforded a nanny for each child I would have had a lot of children. Great pay too. When these kids grow up, their nannies will be like "moms" to them.
They will be very close, if they have the same nanny through most of their growing years. I think it's great, as kids need a lot of attention, and Brad and Angelina realize they can't give it to them, so they have surrogates. I mean they are making zillions of dollars and donating so much of it to worthwhile causes. I think this is a good family in spite of the Hollywood splendor.

Not only don't these kids look happy, but they are all dressed like slobs. She wanted all of these kids, how about taking care of them herself. She certainly is not needed in the movie industry. Neither one of them can act. This is probably the first time they were ever all together. If they want to be the perfect family, how about getting married? Trash is what they are.

I AM A PROFESSIONAL NANNY. I have worked for 9 families. Previously I was a teacher. I am working for a wonderful family with two pre-schoolers presently. The children's parents get home by 6 and spend one-on-one with them until bedtime at 9; lots of reading, hugs and kisses. Weekends are always spent as a family. Vacations are a family affair including grandparents. These children are loving and smart. The parents work hard and make good money to have a nice home for their children and to afford me AND a good pre-school. This has been the case for all of the families I've worked for. You will never EVER see the parents I work for yelling at their children in public or jerking them by the arm and slapping their butts; but boy do I see this going on a lot over the years with PLENTY of other people. And the children I've nannied down through the years would NEVER yell at their parents or demand things from their parents. People who have children and hire nannies love their kids very much.

Bravo...Michelle...Bravo
Anyone who takes that much care in hiring daycare is obviously thinking of thier children first. They are thinking of thier future. They are keeping them in touch with thier roots instead of making them into cookie cutter celeb kids. I give them props for that. Normal people WISH they can do that and hate on those who can. They know where thier kids are at ALL times. Can any of you haters say that? Do you know where they are now?
Who cares?

Who cares! I just cannot stand Angelina Jolie. The world needs to get over her and Brad and pay attention to other things that are 100% more important.

Why are you paying attention then?
Include yourself then you big hypocrite you ...lol @ you and your ilk
sounds like they are running an orphange, not really parenting...just handing the kids over to others to raise.

No wonder they can have all those kids. They don't have to actually be parents and actually raise them. The nannies are rasing those kids. The nannies are the real parents in this family. They are the ones who are actually taking care of the children. Brad and Angelina just want the official title of parents and enjoy the fun parts of being a parent and none of the downside of it. Like discipline and so forth.

If you want so many kids then stay home and be a Mother to them.
Yes you have the money to pay "for the best nanny in the world" but there is nothing like your own Mom taking care of you. Let Dad support the family, he certainly makes enough money. Poor people need both parents to work to make it but these folks are lucky and can stay home and be a parent but the chose to work and lose out on so many things with their children. Who will always love them because of their money.
