Brad and Angelina's Strict Nanny Requirements

We have always wondered how Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie appear to raise such a well mannered brood of six without going completely insane. The answer: nannies, a lot of nannies, an entire basketball team of nannies. PopEater spoke to one applicant for the Pitt-Jolie nanny job who said she was surprised by the strict requirements asked of the family's childcare providers.

Each child, we are told, is given their very own personal nanny, who is required to have a college degree in either education or child development and to speak at least two languages. In the case of Brad and Angie's adopted children from other countries, the nanny is question is expected to speak the language of the child's native land.

The job applicant must also be willing to travel. This is a biggie since the family splits their time between California, New Orleans, France and a number of movie sets on a yearly basis.

According to our source, the positions pay between $50,000 and $150,000 on a sliding scale to start. With six kids, childcare can easily run the Jolie-Pitts a cool million on a yearly basis.

The requirements make sense (and believe us we have heard crazier) since the family travels so often each caregiver will essentially be a one-on-one teacher for the kids when they aren't enrolled in school.

What we have to say is kudos to the Pitt-Jolie publicity machine for their careful pruning of these nannies from the official paparazzi shots the family releases to the press. You would think six extra well-educated bodies traveling with the fam would be easy to spot, but we rarely see anyone but Brad and Angie minding the crew.

Like some said, they adopted the kids and then they shove them off to nannies. Maybe they should have less kids but spend more time with them. Or just let somebody else adopt them and give them the money. If I had the choice, to work a lot and have lots of money or spend time with my kids and have less money, I would rather spend the time with my kids instead of haveing somebody else raise them. Some rich ppl collect arts ,they collect kids!!!!

Angelina and Brad are not going to stay together. She will find a new man in the future. Ditto for Brad.

wow I'm no facial expression expert but those kids do look sad and the two "parents" are so into themselves it's ridiculous in every picture of them cameras in their face get over it their in the business for the attention, and hugely overpaid!!!!

Well, sure, they (or she) adopted kids from other countries, but what about the orphans in this country? I'm sure it plays better in the press to adopt a child from an underprivileged country, but again, tehre are so many in the US that need homes -- or better living arrangements -- the money the spend on different homes and travel, they could fund a really great place for kids.

I never noticed that before -- but you ar right -- they don't look happy -- but being dragged all over the world has got to be confusing to them -- this is not a normal life for sure.

Good for them. Even though they are working parents, they seem to spend a lot of time with their children. Who cares how many they adopt or have - they can afford it. And they take care of them. I think it's great that they want a nanny to be educated, to educate their children, and speak their native language - they are looking for people to do more than just "watch" the kids, feed them, take them to the park and put them to bed. They are looking for people that can do more for them, keep them together, and be well adjusted, educated children. Good for them.

Why dont they try helping and adoping children from thier own country , The country that has made them thier fortune! I am sick of Brad and Angelina , She is a strange women and a home wrecker! She dresses her girls like boys, and I read an article that they live like pigs! HOARDERS even. Brad look like he is doped up all the time. I dont care how much money they ahve , They are nobody important to me.

I for one am not going to put them on any pedestal for this, they are only doing what they are supposed to do as parents, no more,no less. Its only their mega rich Hollywood elite status that gives them this spotlight in the first place. We might ought to wait and see how these kids actually turn out before we annoint their parents as being god (Obama) like.

I think its wonderful that the Pitt's are able to do this for their children. I also liked the fact that they only want educated Nannys and they must also speak the language of the child they are caring for. This gives that child a wonderful opportunity to learn to learn the english language at a much faster rate.

Hey if you had there money and kids u'd want the best for them 2.Why not do all u can for them and I think it's great that there making sure they can speak there native tongue.Who wouldn't want a job where u get 2 travel the country and c new things?

Remember how Joan Crawford was praised and celebrated for adopting? I wouldn't give these 2 people much credit for being great people because they adopt foreign children. Its a publicity hype and its shameful. Whenever, Angelina's famewanes, she huries and adopts. Brad is just the loyal dope who goes along with it to keep her around. Adopting children does not make you loving and caring. Why is it necessaryfor Angelina to get a tattoo everytime she decides to adopt? Why does it have to be reported that she is adopting? Why doesn't celebs like Sandra Bullock and Calista Flockhart get the same press Angelina does when they adopted? Because they are genuinely adopting out of love, not the need to have attention. I don't knowAngelina or Brad, nor do I care too, nor am I jealous of them. All I know is that as adoptive mother, there are things you do and don't do, and one of them is you do not exploit the child for the purpose of it being all about you. Shameless is what these two nutjobs are.

Why adopt children just to PAy someone else to take care of them Why cant she have ten or twelve on her own..she seems healthy enough?
