We have always wondered how Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie appear to raise such a well mannered brood of six without going completely insane. The answer: nannies, a lot of nannies, an entire basketball team of nannies. PopEater spoke to one applicant for the Pitt-Jolie nanny job who said she was surprised by the strict requirements asked of the family's childcare providers.
Each child, we are told, is given their very own personal nanny, who is required to have a college degree in either education or child development and to speak at least two languages. In the case of Brad and Angie's adopted children from other countries, the nanny is question is expected to speak the language of the child's native land.
The job applicant must also be willing to travel. This is a biggie since the family splits their time between California, New Orleans, France and a number of movie sets on a yearly basis.

Interesting. All I can say is they need to add a requirement for nannies who take care of a child of African descent. She must know how to take care of black hair!! Poor little Zahara looks like a hot mess in the hair department most of the time. Somebody seems to be unaware that you can't use the same products and follow the same care routine that you do for kids with straight and/or oily hair.

This woman buys her babies from other 3rd world countries because they are the only counties who will allow her...she's a nutcase and no decent children's rights loving country is going to let this she-freak buy a child. She is screwing up these poor kids as we speak! Get a grip people! Give it one decade and all these kids raised by her are going to be "in the news" in a PITTiful way!

This is about as ridiculous as it can be.. buying kids from other country's.. we have plenty here in America.
And then paying someone to take care of them.. Not even acting like a real parent...Why didn't they just sponsor an orphanage or two... They all look so scattered and disoriented in this picture, that they don't even look like they know each other.
I must say Brads children are so blond and adorable.. Why could
they not be normal people and raise their own.. I will tell you why.. if you do not already know.. It is a publicity stunt..And angelina is trying to look good after all of the crap she has pulled.. plus Brad would pay a bundle if he ever tried to leave her.. Those kids are a noose around his neck.. and he looks it..
Angelina belongs in a nut house..mean to her father for no reason. Other than his pride in her.. Having sex with her own brother.. carrying blood in a tube for Billy... and the list goes on.. She should return those children to their rightful home and just send them money....MY GOD SHE IS SUCH A PHONEY..!!
She desperatly needs psychiatric help.. There, thats my two cents.!

no matter how many "nannies"..these kids will have./..they will still be spoiled brats...the Pitts/Jolies...couldnt pay me enough...to nanny them for sure. Why doesnt Jolie adopt American children..there are many of them right here that need homes....

I really don't understand why everyone's so up in arms about the nanny thing. When my son was small, if I could have afforded a nanny instead of a daycare room with 15 kids, I would've gone that route as well. Either way, it's someone else taking care of your child. And had my "nanny" taken care of some of the laundry, cleaning & such, I also would've had more time to focus on my child when not at work.

I agree with Kristy that there are Nannies that are very good that do not have College Degrees. Does Brad and Angie have a
College Degree before they started their movie careers? I do
think that hiring the bi-lingual nanny is a plus for any family.
God Bless the children and the whole family.

Other requirements: minimize the time the parents actually have to spend with the kids, but "disappear" when the cameras are on...

Six nanny's? That's a nanny per trophy, wow. You can bet Angie is hiring them all by herself, by the pound!!! Sorry Brad LOL.
We had a nanny growing up, her name was Penny, Penny Loafer, Mom used Penny as needed....

2 very famous actors have adopted children and are giving them a good home and a very good education. There is no particular merit in being a single parent. It is very difficult (been there). Brad & Angelina are parents doing the best they can (and sparing no expense to give their children the best). Beyond that, you are speculating. Children grow up. If you are really interested in how they feel, they will tell you eventually. Until then, don't judge.

"...the nanny is question," with all the time and financial resources of AOL/Time Warner, you'd think that someone or something would've taken the time to edit&proofread an article before posting it to the world...give me a job, I'm an English Teacher who finds at least four to five typographical errors in print almost every single day.

Those dear children. What a shame that 'selfish' Jolie had to start a brood of children from different areas for publicity. This is not a loving gesture in my opinion. The children need more than bi-lingual nanny's in their lives. They need parents who are there for them continuously not sharing a week or two here and there. It doesn't appear that these children are truly happy, just look at their faces, much confusion in their sweet little eyes. What a travisty. All for the sake of publicity.....Hollywood style. It's truly sad.

Let's see:
Japan's nuclear power plant is in meltdown;
People are getting killed in Libya and Darfur;
China is out-pacing us and no one is accepting our currency;
Obama is ruining this country;and, the discussion is about nannies for some over-paid morons who have a need to adopt and have childen to validate themselves and remain int he spotlight? That's right......let's talk about Brad and Angelina and all those other Hollyweird idiots and fiddle while Rome is burning.

This gives new meaning to the word you can buy your friends, apparently they have bought their family also. If money is the only thing of value in the world, I guess they have given these kids real opportunity. However I think that love is part of the equation also. I hope so for all involved here. And I am sure they are great parents and are trying to make a better life for these children.

I agree-they should not be adopting so many children if they cannot raise them themselves. I think a nanny is disgusting! A parent should be home raising his/her OWN children, not having a nanny raise them. If people want kids, stay home with them and rasie them! Those children are not lucky at all, kids who have parents taking care of them are the lucky ones.

It is not best for a child to be raised by a nanny. Children need and want their parents.

Angie adopted all these kids for publicity , they probably have4 fulltime nannys , Hollywood is so fake

Can you really call yourself a parent if you hire each child a nanny to raise them???

IT IS ALL A BIG SIDE SHOW .

They are like a sideshow. Just another example of desperate people wanting to appear ordinary when they can never be.

I don't know about others yet when one has children 'they themselves' should be cring for them on a daily basis not nannies..there were 7 of us and we were raised by 'our parents' not nsnnies!! Their children are being raised by nannies not them....IMHO, with both parents away making movies n such aren't caring for them at all!!
