Kate Middleton and Her Family's Coat of ArmsWith the Royal Wedding just over a week away (April 29), bride-to-be Kate Middleton and her family have been granted a traditional coat of arms.

E! Online is reporting that the design featuring three acorns symbolizes the three Middleton children: the princess-to-be and her siblings Pippa, 27, and James, 24. The gold chevron in the center of the crest is to represent Middleton's mother, Carole.

The Middleton family is reported to have chosen the colors red and blue since they're featured prominently in flag of the U.K.
