Lindsay Lohan No Longer in Talks For Gotti Movie

It looks like there's one contract even the Gotti family can't go through with.

Lindsay Lohan is no longer up for the role of Victoria Gotti, daughter of legendary mob boss John Gotti, in the upcoming film 'Gotti: Three Generations.'

"We are not talking any further about Lindsay playing Victoria," says the film's producer, Mark Fiore. "She is no longer being considered. The talks have stopped. We are going to meet with other people."

Just days before the news was announced, Lohan attended a press conference with Victoria Gotti and John Travolta, who has signed on to play the Gotti family patriarch.

Both Victoria Gotti and Travolta sang the actress's praises during the event, with the former saying of the star, "I think she's doing great; I think she's going to continue to do great and she's got a lot of people rooting for her."

Travolta added, "I've always thought [Lohan] was gorgeous and talented and filled with a lot of depth. So, I think that whatever she would like to do would be great with me."

While there has been speculation that studios may be wary of signing Lohan to projects because of the high cost to insure the troubled star, Fiore tells PEOPLE, "Her legal case has nothing to do with it. We just couldn't reach terms."

Following Lohan's lead is 'The Notebook' director Nick Cassavetes, who is no longer attached to the film due to scheduling conflicts. "We were just not willing to put Gotti on hold so we decided to release him from the film," says Fiore.

Looks like the trashy prima donna couldn't "control" who got signed for the Gotti film. Perhaps to insure the falling star was just too darn high.

I think that they just don't want to give her a chance. They didn't like it that she was a Disney kid t in the first place, this, more black bad press,uselessly, repeatedly, which caused her more problems that would have been had she not had the bad press. it probably caused her be driven into the behavior that fueled more negative press. In other words, they want to ruin her. She's a good actress. She could play the part believably and I really think, that the way it's going, I might, begin to blackball the studio releases. I'm tired of the way certain individuals have been raked through the coals only to be brought up then dropped again. So as much as I enjoy Travolta, I won't watch this one, or any other out of that studio. Their choice, my choice.

seriously lil. one you cant talk right and 2, there is no reason to blame anyone else for her bad dealings. yea she started out in disney but then she did other films and she herself chose to go the worng way in life with drugs and bad people and stealing. wa sit disney that told her to steal stuff. cmon. poor excuse for others to feel bad for people. she chosses not to go through the right rehab and only does it half hardedly. why should anyone feel sorry for that. and to pay i hogh insurance price and not guarantee she would be there to finish the product is pure stupidity on the fims people. why cant people own up to their mistakes instead of constantly blaming others.

I'm not surprised. They finally figured out that nobody would go see their movie if they put that drugged-out, drunken no-talent piece of trash in it. She should get a job as a barmaid in some dive bar. She would be good at that, and she could make extra money giving h**d in the back alley.
