Rebecca Black's Death Threats Under Investigation

YouTube sensation Rebecca Black has recently received death threats serious enough that police are investigating them.

Reuters is reporting that the Anaheim, Calif., police department is looking into two death threats made against Black, 13, who is best known for her much-maligned Internet hit 'Friday.'

A spokesman for the Anaheim police said, "In essence, the threats were related to getting the music off the Internet or they were going to kill her."

"We can't validate how serious they are, but we do take it seriously," the spokesman continued.

It was reported that one death threat came by phone and the other by email.

Officers are keeping an extra eye on Black as they investigate the messages, which were made through her production and management companies.

Black's song 'Friday' has generated more than 110 million views on YouTube.

No, I would more likely be jealous of someone who actually has talent. Any retard can write lyrics like "we we so excited", "today is Thursday, tomorrow is Friday" and post it on youtube. It's just sad that our country has such bad taste, so many REAL artists out there.

So many people in this crazy country are seriously mentally ill! There is just so much violence and hatred that it's disgusting. This is sooo ridiculous. It's a thirteen year old girl posting her song on youtube. She has every right to do that. If you morons don't like it, don't watch it. I'm convinced that this stupid youtube crap, and facebook crap, and texting/sexting is literally the route to all evil. People really should keep their lives private and stay away from this nasty stuff.

REALLY?????This was a birthday present from her mom so her little girl could have a neat experience and it was done in a fun manner, why is everybody so mean.. Can't people have fun anymore..You guys act like she is up for a Grammy...Good for her mom for showing her child that she can do anything she puts her mind too..With all the crap going on in our daily lives it is a nice change to see a child having fun and not in trouble...Loosen up people..
