YouTube sensation Rebecca Black has recently received death threats serious enough that police are investigating them.Reuters is reporting that the Anaheim, Calif., police department is looking into two death threats made against Black, 13, who is best known for her much-maligned Internet hit 'Friday.'
A spokesman for the Anaheim police said, "In essence, the threats were related to getting the music off the Internet or they were going to kill her."
"We can't validate how serious they are, but we do take it seriously," the spokesman continued.

oh for crying out loud... grow UP people!!! i don't see where her silly little song harms you in the least. death threats? REALLY? how sad your life must be that this song upsets you to that extent!

I agree. The song is cute and so is she.
Sad people would even waste their time making death threats to this talentless loser. Go away now, your 15 minutes is over.

its sad someone would make remarks about a teenagers little video and call her a loser. Youd think adults would have more cooth and better manners then that.
You are a jealous, ignorant animal.
No, I would more likely be jealous of someone who actually has talent. Any retard can write lyrics like "we we so excited", "today is Thursday, tomorrow is Friday" and post it on youtube. It's just sad that our country has such bad taste, so many REAL artists out there.
Probably a good thing they can't keep track of all of the ones made on youTube...they'd have to open up a new prison or two just for the offenders.

i think this is a cute song,a couple dumb lyrics, but really a good song and great voice for a 13 year old and this is the kind of songs our kids should be listening to then that stupid no good stuff they call gangster rap,it should be banned.

White People are some of the worst racist ever.smh at so called"gansta rap" that is sooooooooo 1990 .such idiots
Mark - I think Sharon was referring to a genre of music and not the color of someone's skin. You need to lighten up dude.
If you don't like the song don't listen simple as that. Death threats against a youn girl is sick

But saying that Bieber should die or death threats to any girl he socializes with are ok?
So many people in this crazy country are seriously mentally ill! There is just so much violence and hatred that it's disgusting. This is sooo ridiculous. It's a thirteen year old girl posting her song on youtube. She has every right to do that. If you morons don't like it, don't watch it. I'm convinced that this stupid youtube crap, and facebook crap, and texting/sexting is literally the route to all evil. People really should keep their lives private and stay away from this nasty stuff.

REALLY?????This was a birthday present from her mom so her little girl could have a neat experience and it was done in a fun manner, why is everybody so mean.. Can't people have fun anymore..You guys act like she is up for a Grammy...Good for her mom for showing her child that she can do anything she puts her mind too..With all the crap going on in our daily lives it is a nice change to see a child having fun and not in trouble...Loosen up people..

It's an innocent piece of ear candy....kinda ridiculous how people hate on her so much. The ones who want to bring her down, are getting the opposite affect actually. By being so vocal about how horrible she is, you are drawing MORE attention to her.

Death threats? Really?? Stop hating on people trying to fulfill their dreams. If you don't like someone's music, just don't listen to it. Pretty simple.

I just heard it, it's cute, a song for kids.
