Video: Casey Abrams Kisses J.Lo, Causes Steven Tyler to Curse on 'Idol'

Jennifer Lopez may have found it a little 'Harder to Breathe' when Casey Abrams surprised her with a kiss during the Maroon 5 hit. The always-surprising 'American Idol' contestant gave a rocking performance but as he approached the judges' table, he slowed it down until he was inches from Lopez' face on the final lines.

In that moment, he stole a quick kiss on her temple before finishing up, as she blushed and smiled in surprise. "See now, Casey's not playing fair," she said.

Steven Tyler was so worked up about the performance that he forgot he was on live television. "There [are] millions of people in America that are really angry, because you pissed them off because you're so f****** good!" he shouted.

Censors got the sound turned off, but he lips were clear as day. What was funny about the moment was that he didn't even seem to realize what he'd said until he finished his thought and Randy Jackson finally brought it to his attention. "Darn good!" he corrected, way too late.

He is a good singer but not a great singer. I think he is a very weird kinda freaky, and a bit phoney type person. The judges made a mistake in saving him.

I don't get him. And I thought he was so much older until he shaved his beard. When they said he was singing Maroon Five, a band I really like so I thought ok! Then I didn't even recognize the song until the chorus. He changed it so much. I thought I liked all kinds of music, but this season I find myself voting for country every time. To each his own. Jazz is one thing but when you change a song so much only the words are the same, it goes beyond jazz to noise.

Casey reminds me of the creepy guy that Mom tells you to stay away from. Other than that he is gifted musically, but not vocally.

Agree. He's got a few lessons to learn. For one, just because a woman looks good doesn't make it okay for you to grab / touch / kiss her. Also, is he really talented musically? Am I missing something? I think the word 'genius' is being overused for sure here.

How do any of you have the time to be on here judging Casey on his skill? I'm sure you're all so busy with your singing careers (sarcasm intended). The kid is good and he's unique. Everyone is entitled to their opinion but to say he is not talented is sheer ignorance.

I don't think Casey is All, to me he's kind of loos like Jimmy Brolin from Amityville Horror. I thought him Kissing Jennifer Lopez was a bit out of line.

Casey, in my opionon. is getting stronger every week. I did not care for him, at first, but look forward to listening to him every week, now. I do not care for Haley. She is a "growler", but, the males seem to like her. James yells too much. To me, That is not singing. My favorites are Lauren and Scotty. They can sing any song, and, make it their own. Just my opinion, tho. Anxious to see who gets voted off this week. My guess is, either, Stephano or Jacob.

What's the big deal about him? He's not attractive, he's a growler, the kiss was corny/tacky, he seems to believe his own hype and yet I've never seen him do anything with a song that makes it better or even as good as the original. I still have nightmares from his rendition of Nirvana's "Teen Spirit."
