A group of U.S. Marines stationed in Afghanistan seem to be Britney Spears fans and a terrific video of them lip-synching to 'Hold It Against Me' has been making the rounds on YouTube. The members of 266 Rein and HMLA 169, located "somewhere deep in the heart of Afghanistan," put together the clip, complete with some awesome dance moves, choreography and even some special effects. According to the YouTube post, the video took three months to make due to the group's busy schedule.
The Princess of Pop even saw the video and shared it with her fans. "I am in LOVE with this... I always knew our soldiers were fierce! Thanks for everything you guys do," Britney Spears tweeted Thursday with a link.

Amen!! Loved the video!! My husband is retired military, we support our military what ever song they would like to sing. They show the world what America is, no matter what Americans can see through the difficult times knowing better times are just beyond. I would love to see the Navy sing 'YMCA' or Air Force sing 'Up up and away in my Beautiful Balloon'. God hold each one of our military people in your arms safe from harm, amen.
This is AWESOME! A positive way to keep morale up and keep busy during down time. Being a spouse of a soldier, I would love it if my spouses unit did something like this.
Not a Speares fan-but this was great!

After reading about some atrocities done by a few of our American soldiers recently, my heart felt a lightness it hasn't felt in a while. I always knew our troops were stupendous.
This video was not only full of talented, creative and attractive men and women but it invigorated me. Thank you, To all our troops, you are awesome.

That being said; Brit-Brit, you should probably know that Army are soldiers and Marines are marines.

Hey! Cut her some slack...at least she wasn't being a jerk like some artists have been when they felt their work was "stolen." These guys and gals look like they had a great time - and they certainly deserve some fun - and Britainy sounds like she was trying to stay in the spirit of fun. Educate later - let's all have a laugh right now.
A USAF wife.
Great video! I know I would have been in on that if the situation presented itself!
Flier, the long hair could have been a Corpsman, although while in the field one's hair can often get overlooked, especially in the wing.
Thank you for the laughs and Semper Fidelis.

Too bad Britney ripped the song off from the Bellamy Bros.

glad I'm not the only person who knew it was the Bellamy Brothers, but I highly doubt she knows where it came from...
