A group of U.S. Marines stationed in Afghanistan seem to be Britney Spears fans and a terrific video of them lip-synching to 'Hold It Against Me' has been making the rounds on YouTube.The members of 266 Rein and HMLA 169, located "somewhere deep in the heart of Afghanistan," put together the clip, complete with some awesome dance moves, choreography and even some special effects. According to the YouTube post, the video took three months to make due to the group's busy schedule.
The Princess of Pop even saw the video and shared it with her fans. "I am in LOVE with this... I always knew our soldiers were fierce! Thanks for everything you guys do," Britney Spears tweeted Thursday with a link.

this actually helps me alot the guy on the right in the picture is my good friend brandon and i havent heard from him in a while its good to know he is safe even if all i get to see if him dancing like the goof ball he is i wouldnt expect anything less from him

Former Leatherneck here and an old one to boot. I wish when I was in the service we were allowed to be that creative. I praise those fine men and women who made this video. They have been able to keep sight of their human side and had some fun in a tragically harsh environment. Thank you to all of those marines who made this video. May whatever power you believe in keep you safe and bring you and the rest of our soldiers home safely.

What a nice surprise it was to watch the Marine video. I'm glad they are still able to have some fun and enjoy themselves even under those kinds of conditions. Britney has used her powers for good this time.
This song and the Bellamy Brothers song by the same title are NOT the same song...different melody and different lyrics. The phrase "if I said you have a beautiful body would you hold it against me" was actually first coined by Groucho Marx. The Bellamy Brothers need to listen to the Eagles' Lyin' Eyes before they start throwing lawsuits around. Lyin Eyes was released in 1975. The B Brothers re-released it in 1979 under the title of "If I said you had a beautiful body would you hold it against me." Listen to both songs at the same time and hear for yourself. What morons...Next they will be suing the Marines in the video.
