LeAnn Rimes Marries Eddie Cibrian
LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian have tied the knot.
The surprise wedding on Friday night was a small, intimate ceremony in California, witnessed by approximately 40 friends and relatives, according to
People.com.
"LeAnn and Eddie were happily married...surrounded by their closest family and friends," said a spokesman for the bride. "They thank everyone for their well wishes."
The day after her wedding, Rimes
tweeted: "Eddie and I are overwhelmed by the amount of lovely well wishes. We are blessed and.... I'm Mrs. Cibrian!!!!! So wonderful to wake up as husband and wife. Love to all of you."
Cibrian's sons from his first marriage (Mason, 7, and Jake, 4) were among the guests, who had all been invited to a party on the premise of celebrating the couple's engagement. Instead, on a private Malibu property overlooking the Pacific, the country singer and the actor exchanged marriage vows and wedding bands.
Their
engagement happened in December when Cibrian popped the question with a five-carat diamond
ring. About her fiance, Rimes tweeted, "The ring is beautiful, man is better :)"
Earlier, this month, Rimes was spotted looking thinner than usual, but she
fired back against allegations of an eating disorder.
Another thing she has
staunchly defended is her relationship, even though it began in 2008 as an extramarital affair on a TV movie set, while both were still wed to their previous spouses. "I didn't have the tools to know how to do it the right way, how to let go the right way," Rimes recently said of ending her marriage to
Dean Sheremet, who's now
engaged to his new love. "I'd never been taught that."
Cibrian was married to Brandi Glanville, the mother of his two sons, when he first fell for the Grammy-winning singer and fledgling actress. In January,
Glanville said, "There is still a lot of animosity, but hopefully, one day, we can move through that and get to a better place."

Knowing how this relationship came about - it is hard to wish them well. They will be divorced in 1 year.

You probably said the same thing about Brad and Angelina too. And I will guarantee none of you have perfect lives and are on your third or fourth marriages.
i wish them well. i hope they have a forever marriage. i think the haters r just that, jealous haters.
When LeAnn was a young performer, she was a brat! She was disrespectful to her father and treated people like dirt. NOTHING has changed. Eddie did this for MONEY and fame, pure and simple.
I totally agree. Sooner or later one or both will get bored and be looking for something else. Once a cheater, always a cheater.
All Cibrian did was marry up. His ex is way hotter looking that LeAnn, but I think it was LeAnn's celeb status (she's a name & has alot of money). Eddie's ex was virtually a nobody...albeit, a good-looking nobody. LeAnn will have to worry about Eddie not getting a role with a bigger named, hotter-looking celeb and vice versa.
Hey Bubbles, don't be a hater!! they look very happy.. I wish them the best!!
junior, Brad and Angelina aren't married, and they are just as bad as these two...and for the record, I just celebrated my 29th wedding anniversary with my high school sweetheart (husband). Just because someone's life isn't perfect is no excuse to cheat. Every marriage has ups & downs, but adultery isn't the answer. I've never cheated on my husband and I can pretty much guarantee you that it's been reciprocated. The key to a marriage (IMO) is being best friends as well as lovers.....and we are. If I was so unhappy, I would have ended it before getting involved with anyone else. Cheating is never right and should never be justified in any way....it's just wrong, and anyone with morals knows this.
You don't know that so why say it?
I give it nine months, tops.
Statistics show, that 2 out 3 marriages end in divorce(caused by one or the other cheating), so I don't think that Leann and Eddie did any more than you, or I have done. Why not just send them well wishes.. If it ends in a year or so... So be it.. Maybe at least they can find a trace of happiness until then. As for you nay sayers... LOOK IN THE MIRROR.. JUDGE NOT LEST YE BE JUDGED!!!!!!!!
I agree, and to the person replying asking if bubbles is on their third or fourth? Im not, it will be 23 years this July, can you say the same?
@junior
Brad & angelina's relationship started differently. very differently
I wish them nothing but unhappiness. They both disgust me. Junior, the difference between Brad and Angelina, was that there were not kids involved in the cheating scandal, unlike these two losers. By the way, I am going on my 35 years with one person.
I give them five years at the most.

I agree. Its going to be five years of doubts and insecurities..."is he attracted to this woman", she will be questioning every time he mentions a woman's name. Her jealousies and doubts will start to wear on him, and eventually resentment sets in. Then its all over.
Scank- I hope he does to her what she did to his first wife... and I bet he does! I won't wish her well she does not deserve it-homewreaker!

Listen if the marriage would have been stable to begin with Eddie and his wife would not be having this problem.....so get over it!!!!!
Must agree with you. No one can possibly prosper for any length at the cost of hurting someone else. It's KARMA. LeAnne better enjoy her minutes of happiness with her 'Romeo', because he'll be looking elsewhere in the future. Wonder if they got a 'prenup'?
Today's celebraties are nothing but bed hoppers.
