LeAnn Rimes Marries Eddie Cibrian
LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian have tied the knot.
The surprise wedding on Friday night was a small, intimate ceremony in California, witnessed by approximately 40 friends and relatives, according to
People.com.
"LeAnn and Eddie were happily married...surrounded by their closest family and friends," said a spokesman for the bride. "They thank everyone for their well wishes."
The day after her wedding, Rimes
tweeted: "Eddie and I are overwhelmed by the amount of lovely well wishes. We are blessed and.... I'm Mrs. Cibrian!!!!! So wonderful to wake up as husband and wife. Love to all of you."
Cibrian's sons from his first marriage (Mason, 7, and Jake, 4) were among the guests, who had all been invited to a party on the premise of celebrating the couple's engagement. Instead, on a private Malibu property overlooking the Pacific, the country singer and the actor exchanged marriage vows and wedding bands.
Their
engagement happened in December when Cibrian popped the question with a five-carat diamond
ring. About her fiance, Rimes tweeted, "The ring is beautiful, man is better :)"
Earlier, this month, Rimes was spotted looking thinner than usual, but she
fired back against allegations of an eating disorder.
Another thing she has
staunchly defended is her relationship, even though it began in 2008 as an extramarital affair on a TV movie set, while both were still wed to their previous spouses. "I didn't have the tools to know how to do it the right way, how to let go the right way," Rimes recently said of ending her marriage to
Dean Sheremet, who's now
engaged to his new love. "I'd never been taught that."
Cibrian was married to Brandi Glanville, the mother of his two sons, when he first fell for the Grammy-winning singer and fledgling actress. In January,
Glanville said, "There is still a lot of animosity, but hopefully, one day, we can move through that and get to a better place."

She didn't do anything to His first wife. He did. Now she did prove unfaithful to Her husband though... Got that? Both were unfaithful to their mates. You can't blame her for what he did. Nor can you blame him for what she did.
It's takes two to tango.......can't blame it only on her!

to doris: women ABSOLUTELY DO NOT always get blamed in this type situation. many many times the double standard goes against men. for example, when a man cheats, you often hear, "WHAT a pig, he's filth, he's a dog...how could he do that to her?" and often when a woman cheats, you hear "well i guess he just wasn't keeping her happy or satisfied or he wasn't giving her enough attention"

What a stank ho Lee Ann is. Eddie is a coward, can't wait to see this marriage end, when he cheats on her.

L.R. has very hard, old looks to be in her 20's. A surprise wedding when it was supposed to be an engagement party? Who would care....exept them, what was the point? LOL I don't think it will last either. He is way better looking than she is!!!!

The point was to keep it private and not have reporters and hateful people ruin it for them. They hurt people true, but those people have moved on fast, so they must not have been too devasted. They were wrong in the affair, but lets move on, has anyone tried to find out why they weren't happy in their former marriages, maybe there is a little blame there. I wish them well and hope their marriage last til death they do part.
Well, she has the money and fame. He may have looks, but... They are both selfish and don't deserve anyone but each other...
I first saw LeAnn perform in her home town of Garland,Texas. She was a talented, precious little lady. All grown up she still is. I wish you and Eddie all the happiness.

It's not her looks - it's her money.
I love how people act like they are not human, maybe because they're 'famous', and don't do anything wrong and never learn from their mistakes! I'm not proud of it and I was angry for a long time, but my dad fell in love with a coworker while still married to my mom, they've been married for 16 years now. They're are happy, my mom moved on and that's just life. I fell in love with my husband while engaged to another man, when I was 20, I've been married to my husband ever since (although I did break things off first). The point is, people fall in love, things happen and just because they didn't do things the right way, doesn't mean that the love they share isn't real!

Jennifer, I aplaud you for your maturity and insight. You sound like a really nice person, your parents should be proud of you.
People judge from what they see on the surface! They don't know what's going on in these people private life. Everyone are entitle to live their life if it works for them. Who is anyone to judge!
If two people really trully love eacher no one can break them. Some relationship are not meant to last forever and some are.
