Royal Wedding Guest List Revealed: Who's Going?

Royal wedding guests, shine your shoes and polish your best jewels: The big day is less than a week away!
We now know which lucky VIPs with
invitations to
Prince William and
Kate Middleton's nuptials will be dressed in their finest at Westminster Abbey. Nobody could upstage the bride and groom, of course, but who else will
cameras from around the world be angling to catch on April 29?
The palace has just
revealed a "selected" list of royals and celebs who are confirmed as wedding guests. Beloved Brits
David and Victoria Beckham and Sir
Elton John are no surprise, but keep your eyes open for these other famous faces.
Director Guy Ritchie, singer Joss Stone, Olympic swimmer Ian Thorpe and quirky 'Mr. Bean' star Rowan Atkinson are confirmed to attend.
Peruvian-born Mario Testino, the photographer (and Princess Diana favorite) responsible for
William and Kate's official engagement photos, will be a guest. So will the chief executive of
BAFTA (known by many as the British Oscars -- it turns out Prince William became the president of BAFTA last year!).
As for non-British dignitaries, Prince Albert of Monaco will attend with his fiance, Olympic swimmer Charlene Wittstock (surely taking notes for their upcoming July wedding). Prince Elizabeth of Yugoslavia (second cousin to Prince Charles, mother of actress
Catherine Oxenberg and 1397th in line to the British throne) will be a guest, as will royals from Spain, Greece, Tonga, Swaziland, Denmark, Bahrain, Belgium, Morocco, Norway, Abu Dhabi, The Netherlands, Malaysia and Saudi Arabia, among others.
Despite recording a love song for the couple, singer
George Michael did not make the guest list.
By the way, guests have been asked to come empty-handed: The couple requests
donations to charities in lieu of wedding gifts.

Honestly as an American I could care less about the Royal Wedding.
My bet is their marriage won't last 3 months.

My credentials are more impeccable than the Obamas including my US Birth Certificate with my foot prints on it. I'm not invited. It's okay, I'm doing my hair on that day. Lots of people get married, but the real significance of this is it's being held at Westminster Abbey, the burial place of Charles Darwin and Sir Isaac Newton, two people that did actually change the world...Alfred-

300 million for a wedding, the people of England should say no more of this b.s. boot the royal family out on their butts, take back the billions of dollars the royals have stolen from the people. Can you believe that buckingham palace (the people that run it) actually asked for 1.2 million dollars (or equivalent)from the heating help fund for the poorer people to heat the palace( cnn news story). greed has no bounds for these elitist garbage.I guess thats why america was started.

Ummmm hello...why is it being shown here on TV? Last time I checked we where no longer a part Of England.

Why, then, was Diana's funeral shown here?
Obviously, you know nothing of television and what gets ratings.
LOL, I'll bet Madonna is kicking herself now. Had she remained married to Guy Richie, this would have been her chance to snuggle up with British royalty like she always wanted. Now she will have just watch it on TV like the rest of us.

Still hate her.

In that President Reagan and Nancy were invited to the Charles and Di wedding, it is hard not to notice that President Obama and Michele were not inivited to the William and Kate wedding. To help President Obama and Michele save face, the media reports that since this is not a State affair, President Obama and Michele were left off the invitation list. Was the Charles and Di wedding a State affair?

President & Mrs. Reagan were not invited to Charles & Diana's wedding becasue he was the President. They were invited because he was a favorite movie star of Charles. They would have been invited had he not been President. Please stop your nonsense of continuing to find some reason to justify your racist attitude towards this country's ELECTED current leader. And get some education beyond what your alcoholic mother taught you in the trailer park. It is NOT a state affair. It is not disrespect to not invite a political leader if they are not personal friends, nor is it mandatory to invite ANY leader of any country, anymore than it's mandatory that you invite your Uncle Daddy to you & your sister's wedding.
Now we know why the marriage is doomed from the start. The Reagans being invited must have Jinx it.
Who gives a Rats Johnson !!
