Video: Lady Gaga Cries, Prays Backstage

Today, if you're fond of both eggs and prayer, you're not alone. HBO is teasing new documentary-style footage of Lady Gaga praying backstage, as the network counts down to its May 7 broadcast of 'Lady Gaga Presents The Monster Ball Tour: At Madison Square Garden.'

The black-and-white clip is essentially a monologue, as Gaga faces her dressing-room mirror and gets some pretty intense emotions off her chest, while wiping makeup off her face. If you've ever seen Madonna's 'Truth or Dare,' prepare for some déjà vu.

Gaga, 25, explains that although her monstrously successful tour has reached the biggest venue in her hometown of Manhattan, she struggles with insecurity: "I still sometimes feel like a loser kid in high school" (she attended a New York City all-girls Roman Catholic academy, Convent of the Sacred Heart). Watch the 'Born This Way' singer wrestle with what it all means, and pray for courage:

Lady GaGa is a late pop storm, too bad she has to be in this light where everybody is hating the old heavy weights. She deserves a fresh ticket. Who cares if she's imitating others, they're a monopoly.

lady gaga is an influential artist who is living the life she was given. its not her fault we are a society of followers seeking idols to worship and spend money on. she is actually a very nice person under all the pretentious hoopla.

Who here really thinks this was a SINCERE, GENUINE prayer from the heart, let alone all els she said ? TRUTH be told, do you REALLY think she's a believer in Jesus Christ as her personal Savior too ?

Well truth be told that is not for us to decide. Her salvation is between her and God. For now she is a puppet for an evil industry but who is to say that Jesus in the end will prevail in her life. We should be praying for her to find salvation not judge whether or not she has it.
