LeAnn Rimes' Ex, Dean Sheremet, Reacts to Singer's Wedding News

Country crooner LeAnn Rimes just made her second walk down the aisle, but ex-husband Dean Sheremet has moved on from the painful end of his marriage, when Rimes was first discovered to be having an affair with actor Eddie Cibrian, her new husband.

Sheremet says, according to Us, "LeAnn was a huge part of my life so I wish her the best."

Rimes and Sheremet were married in 2002 and announced their split in 2009. Rimes, who had no chilren with Sheremet, had fallen for a married co-star (Cibrian) on the set of a TV movie in 2008. She recently reflected on the scandal, telling the Great American Country channel, "It got really messy, but I have learned a lot....And I'm not glad it happened, but I know why it did."

Sheremet, now a 29-year-old chef, announced his engagement to live-in girlfriend Sarah Silver in November 2010. His ex, Rimes, tweeted her good wishes at the time: 'A little birdie told me the happy news last night. Best Wishes for a life full of happiness.'

Rimes, 28, and Cibrian, 37, got engaged in December 2010 and were married Friday in a private Malibu ceremony attended by a few dozen friends and relatives. Guests had allegedly been invited on the pretense of an engagement party but the couple ended up exchanging vows and rings in a surprise wedding. Cibrian split from Brandi Glanville, mother of his two young sons, by filing papers in 2009; the divorce was finalized in September.

Cibrian is a gold digger and a cheat who is not capable of a mongamous relationship. It would not surprise me if he married Rimes for her money. As someone has already posted, Rimes will know the signs when he starts cheating on her.

I'm far from being a prude but to have an affair while your married just goes against the sanctity of marriage. If your unhappy get a divorce, Lee Ann did so on that I'm happy for her. For him however, he cheated on his wife whom he had children. Personally, Lee Ann should have had morals and backed away until the divorce went through. But hindsight is 20/20, I doubt their marriage will last.
