Did Megan Fox Rethink Her Ink?

Megan Fox has drawn comparisons to Angelina Jolie for her smoldering good looks and penchant for body art, but it seems the Hollywood hottie is rethinking some of her trademark tattoos.

The actress, who has a large collection of ink, including a quote from Shakespeare's 'King Lear' on her shoulder and her husband's name tattooed on her lower stomach, has received flack for much of her body art, particularly a portrait of Marilyn Monroe on her right forearm.

It seems that Norma Jean has left the building, however. Fox showed up at a recent event for Armani with Marilyn looking like a shadow of her former self.

It seems the actress has undergone laser treatments to remove the portrait, which looked noticeably lighter and less detailed.

Fox had previously explained her reasons for getting the portrait of the tragic legend, saying, "I really admire Marilyn Monroe but I would never try to emulate her. I got the tattoo as a warning. It warns me not to let myself be treated so badly by the film industry so that it breaks me down."

This may not be the last ink we see on the actress, however. To her detractors, Fox says, "Everyone hates them because they're closed-minded about tattoos. People who don't like me, as far as fans go, always talk about how I'm trashy because I have tattoos ... Tattoos aren't limited to sailors. I find them beautiful, so I'm going to keep doing it."

She's gorgeous and I find her honest and refreshing. I like the fact that she isn't a party girl and seems to be perfectly fine just spending time with her family and focusing on her career. People may disagree with some of the things she says, but that's her opinion and everyone is entitled to it. "Just because you're offended, doesn't make you right".

Oh she's a party girl, who are you kidding? She's admitted that her mother had to follow her to Hollywood because she was so reckless and out of control. Reporters have also caught her flirting with guys in bars right in front of Brian Austin Green.

She may not look like she used to but the end result is stunning and not artifical looking, unlike others who have gone under the knife! That being said; the Marilyn tattoo was ill-placed and not well done at all. I'm so glad she's having it removed-it was very masculine despite being of a beautiful womas. Hopefully, whatever she gets next will be done by a BETTER artist

She states that people that don't like her as far as fans go its because of her tattoos.I love tattoos on woman as long as they are not the prison tattoos (bad lines and black ink that looks blue).I don't like her as an actress she was good in the Transformer series but not that hard of a role except for the physical aspect of the movie.She was horrible in Jennifer's body (did not watch it)at least from the trailers i had watched.If you can not pull off a role even in the trailers then you can not pull off an entire movie.That body is the only reason to go see her in a movie.

No Megan , we do not hate Tattoos because we are closed minded.
We hate them because they are ugly and do nothing for you personally. It is OK to have one Tattoo but when you start writing a Book all over your body ypu seriosly need to rethink your choices. The Same goes for Anglina.

Some people are so full of crap. What? Do you know her personally? Do you hang out with her? Does she call you or something that you know she's trashy or dumb or some kind of bad person because she has tattoos and hotter than you? I have to wonder if any of you would say the same thing to anyone on the street, just an "average joe or jane".

Tattoos are hot. And they also have permanent meanings for some. I have 6 and all of mine have meanings or are personal reminders to me of something or someone. They are beautiful and should be displayed like art in a museum. This does not mean you are trashy. And remember, those that dilike tattoos are usually the ones who always wanted one but were too afraid. LOL
