Forget serving up killer aces, now Serena Williams will be serving up some major rhymes. The tennis pro, who also calls herself a fashion designer, Miami Dolphins co-owner and spokesperson, is taking some time in the studio to stop swinging and start spitting, according to TMZ.

Williams, 29, hit Minnesota Vikings player Bryant McKinnie's record label's studio last week to collaborate with hip-hop producer DJ Clue.

But Williams' studio time may be cut short -- she begins training to get back on the courts soon. The superstar athlete was previously recovering from a pulmonary embolism, a blood clot in the lungs, for which she had to undergo emergency surgery in March.
