Kate Hudson and Matt Bellamy Are Engaged

Kate Hudson announced she's engaged to Muse rocker Matt Bellamy Wednesday on the 'Today Show.'

During a live interview, host Matt Lauer pointed out a large rock on her ring finger and Hudson laughed, announcing the engagement.

"It just happened a week ago, I'm so glad you noticed," she told Lauer. "I haven't really announced it and I felt like the announcing thing feels so silly, and I was just waiting for someone to notice."

"He's a beautiful man, and I'm excited," she said of Bellamy. No wedding date has been set and Hudson kept quiet on the proposal details, adding only that is was "very sweet, very romantic."

Hudson and Bellamy are expecting their first child together this summer. The new addition will join Hudson's son Ryder, 7, whose dad is Hudson's ex-husband, Black Crowes rocker Chris Robinson.

Applelinda it doesnt happen like that anymore. You get knocked up first and then maybe you will get married.

Whatever happened to getting married and working out your problems instead of leaving your spouse? I'd wager that most issues in marriages can be worked out if you try. (Not all, but most)

Kate Hudson isn't an ordinary person from an ordinary family. She just does what the heck she wants. Besides, a lot of these gals wait until after the baby is born so they can fit into a sexy designer dress/gown, not to mention get drunk with their girlfriends at the reception.

I don't care for Muse, either. But Matt is one of the most successful rockers on earth right now ... so successful, he dumped his longtime girlfriend so he could breed with Hollywood royalty. That's part of what success is all about, right?

Julie this article is about Kate Hudson not Lee Ann Rimes. As bad a you think Lee Ann is, at least she does not get pregnant and jump from bed to bed as Hudson seems to do and ends up preggers to boot. Rimes did cheat with one man and married him, but Hudson seemed to like a new bed partner every few weeks. Let us see how long this marriage lasts for Hudson...
