Kate Hudson and Matt Bellamy Are Engaged

Kate Hudson announced she's engaged to Muse rocker Matt Bellamy Wednesday on the 'Today Show.'

During a live interview, host Matt Lauer pointed out a large rock on her ring finger and Hudson laughed, announcing the engagement.

"It just happened a week ago, I'm so glad you noticed," she told Lauer. "I haven't really announced it and I felt like the announcing thing feels so silly, and I was just waiting for someone to notice."

"He's a beautiful man, and I'm excited," she said of Bellamy. No wedding date has been set and Hudson kept quiet on the proposal details, adding only that is was "very sweet, very romantic."

Hudson and Bellamy are expecting their first child together this summer. The new addition will join Hudson's son Ryder, 7, whose dad is Hudson's ex-husband, Black Crowes rocker Chris Robinson.

How can you say that you are "excited" to be engaged when you are already pregnant? But then, if it had been one of the others you dated, you would be just a single mother and another glowing example to our young girls.

Kate Hudson is a wackjob. In the last year it appears she wanted to setlle down with a new baby and was just looking for any donor
(ARod, etc) that would go along with it. "He's a beautiful man...." sounds like an advertisement she read in Get Me Pregnant Magazine.

i think the today show should get rid of matt lauer. he sucks as an interviewer. why don't he ask some personal question get to the good stuff. hes sucks up to the network. puls he's try to hard to hide that bald head of his. him and al roker try to be funny but it just doesn't work.. the sould put al roker up in a hot air balloon to do the weather. just never bring him down. maybe we'll get luckl and he'll get struck by lighting.
