'Pregnant in Heels' star Rosie Pope always dreamed of becoming a mom again after the birth of her first child, J.R., now 2 1/2, but her hopes were almost dashed when she faced devastating fertility issues after the birth."I just stopped ovulating," the 31-year-old maternity expert and designer tells Life & Style.
But Pope was persistent, turning to in vitro fertilization to make her baby dreams come true.
Unfortunately, once again, Pope was met with heartbreak, suffering an ectopic pregnancy that resulted in the removal of one of her fallopian tubes.
Against all odds, that procedure seemed to do the trick, and Pope became pregnant with son Wellington Reed shortly thereafter.
"I feel like the luckiest person in the universe to have this baby sitting in front of me," says Pope of her 10-week-old baby boy. "He just feels really special to me."

Congrats to her & her family! This gives hope a good name.
I just love Rosie and am so happy for her family. It was so sad watching last nights episode when she learned of the ectopic pregnancy. God bless the family.

Rosie is correct about persistence. I had two baby boys 2 years apart. However we still wanted to try for a girl. We wanted three children. We tried for 16 years without so much as a pregnancy or even a miscarriage. Finally I became pregnant. Even though I lost that baby at 17 weeks. I knew that at least I could get pregnant. The very next year, I had a baby girl. And SURPRISE, another girl the following year. So it is possible with persistence.

I am SO happy for you and your family! I read your post and it gave me hope that I too will have another child. My kids are now 21 and 22, I'm 39. My now husband and I have been ttc for 3 years with no results. I am only getting older so I feel like it's now or never which scares me that much more. I pray everyday that this does happen for us and I know it will! Thanks for sharing your atory!
I am genuinely happy for her as I too just 10 weeks ago gave birth to my little miracle boy!! My husband and I have been trying for a baby for 10 years and at the age of 28 never thought I would have to do IVF, but alas I did!! I hope that people continue to talk about fertility issues as it is still a taboo topic for many but so many are affected bu it!!

As with the other PopEater pregnancy story, this woman is NOT a star. Nobody on any reality show is. At best, they can be called celebrities.

I am so happy for her! BUT can anyone tell me, does she have a speech problem of some sort? I know she is from England, but her speach seems odd. Does anyone know why?

Last night was heartbreaking so it's good to hear that she now has new baby. As for the speech, I detected an impediment the first time I watched. At first I wondered if it was due to a tongue piercing but I haven't seen a stud so I suspect she's tongue tied.
She is tongue-tied. Thanks for being so shallow that you noticed nothing but that.
Pregnant women creep me out....
