Source: Sarah Ferguson Told to 'Disappear' on Royal Wedding Day

It's bad enough that Sarah Ferguson, The Duchess of York, did not receive an invite to the Royal wedding, but now to add insult to injury the Royal black sheep has been asked to keep a low profile on the very special day.
"The last thing the family wants is a picture of Sarah in a bikini on a beach popping up the day of the wedding or even worst mopping around by herself while everyone else is celebrating," a friend of Sarah's tells me. "They have basically told her to disappear and not be any distraction to the big day."
Sarah, whose most recent scandal involved being caught trying to sell media access to her ex-husband, Prince Andrew, has been busy working on a new show, 'Finding Sarah,' for Oprah's OWN channel. But despite her hard work, the Royals have made it clear they are in no mood to forgive.
The Duchess has not returned emails requesting comment. Has she gone underground already?
"Not inviting Sarah to the wedding is such a big mistake," the confidante tells me. "What's going to happen in a few years when her daughters get married? Are they going to try and ban their mother from attending their wedding because the Queen will be attending?"
Sarah is the first to admit she's made a big mistake and my insider observes that "if a wedding isn't a time for a family to set aside past problems and come together, then I don't know what is."

I also think that Sarah should have been invited. She is, after all, aunt to the future King and mother to his cousins, who will be in attendance. This occasion would have been a perfect opportunity to show all that 'family is the tie that binds'. Just as when the Queen stripped Diana of the HRH title, unfortunately the Royals show themselves again to be petty and begrudging.

Actually, Fergie was an aunt through marriage to William & Harry. People are acting as if she were Diana's blood sister, which she was not. I think how the Queen and her palace lackeys are treating William & Harry's blood family, the Spencers, is the real shame.
For Fergie, she made her beds, now sleep in them.
And as for Camilla, she is the Prince of Wales consort, so of course she will be there. No matter how ugly she is. Not that she will brighten the occasion, but she is married to the groom's father. If Charles divorces her before Harry gets married, I doubt we would see her at his wedding.
I AM SAD FOR FERGIE; HER CHILDREN WILL BE THERE WITHOUT THEIR MOTHER. FORGIVENESS is a word that the Royal Family does not seem to know !! NOBODY'S PERFERT !
FERGIE WE LOVE YOU .
Je suis triste pour Fergie; ses enfants seront là sans leur mère.
Savoir PARDONNER est un mot que la Famille Royale semble ignorer. Personne n'est parfait !
Fergie nous t'aimmons !!!

I feel badly for Princes William and Harry...For they will be there without their mother, as well.
William's big day that Princess Diana surely always looked forward too...And now, what? She's gone.
FROGS suck!
too bad there has to be a mean story like this day before the wedding. william and kate should have invited the mom of their cousins. peace and love should reign.

Um, if it were a normal wedding no one would ever think of inviting the ex-wife of the groom's uncle.

I was once quite interested in the "Royal" family, with Diana and Charles wedding my mother loved seeing it all on her TV . I began a Diana collection, books mags. and finally the tabs on her sudden death, bought them off the rack that nite, gone the next day.
Her and Dodi F. pic is on the covers. But then, Camilla, and the boys acceptance of her? Sick ,,,,Diana's betrayer's,Charles became one of my least favorite ppl. I don't care now, they all cheat I was told, they were dispicable to Diana, and now Fergie?? I think they are all stuffed shirts, and worse. I wish them the best, but I won't be watching it all,,,,,,, too many memories of a happy young Diana,,,, beware to Kate Middleton, those people have ICE WATER in their veins!!!

I doubt that they will worry if she is "mopping", they don't want her to be seen moping. Incorrect spelling changes the whole meaning of the statement.

That shows you how ignorant the queen is. A big nothing with a lot of money. SF is still Williams aunt and to be snubbed like that is just terrible.

IDK, I'm with the royals, for once, on this one. Selling access to her ex? That is really low, and proves she cannot be trusted by that family. She betrayed them. No loyalty to her children's father. A wedding invite? Don't think they are being petty. How do they know she won't sell her story about the wedding to pay her debts? Or talk about it on the reality show she is doing for Oprah?

Let's see...Diana did an interview with the BBC exposing not only Charles' infidelity but her own as well and nobody condemned her. Charles retorted with an interview of his own. And let's not forget those audio tapes of his calls to Camilla "I wish I was a tampon inside of you"? And nobody condemned him. So really, how bad is Fergie for exploiting her relationship with Andrew, whom she still gets along with for the sake of their children? Oh and let's not forget that Princess Anne is divorced too. They may all be royalty, but they still put on their pantaloons one leg at a time.
Betraying family, even an ex, is unforgivable.

Fergie is a trollop, I would not want her near my daughter's wedding either.

Very unkind to alienate her. If I were her, there is no way I'd lay low; I'd do exactly as I pleased. How dare they ask her for the favor and in the same breath, be so rude.
