Source: Sarah Ferguson Told to 'Disappear' on Royal Wedding Day

It's bad enough that Sarah Ferguson, The Duchess of York, did not receive an invite to the Royal wedding, but now to add insult to injury the Royal black sheep has been asked to keep a low profile on the very special day.
"The last thing the family wants is a picture of Sarah in a bikini on a beach popping up the day of the wedding or even worst mopping around by herself while everyone else is celebrating," a friend of Sarah's tells me. "They have basically told her to disappear and not be any distraction to the big day."
Sarah, whose most recent scandal involved being caught trying to sell media access to her ex-husband, Prince Andrew, has been busy working on a new show, 'Finding Sarah,' for Oprah's OWN channel. But despite her hard work, the Royals have made it clear they are in no mood to forgive.
The Duchess has not returned emails requesting comment. Has she gone underground already?
"Not inviting Sarah to the wedding is such a big mistake," the confidante tells me. "What's going to happen in a few years when her daughters get married? Are they going to try and ban their mother from attending their wedding because the Queen will be attending?"
Sarah is the first to admit she's made a big mistake and my insider observes that "if a wedding isn't a time for a family to set aside past problems and come together, then I don't know what is."

Queenie, hasn't anyone told you "keep your friends close, but keep your enemies closer"?

She tried to pimp out her own husband. I kind of get it.

Dear Fergie .. You are well out of that mess, dear girl. I am hoping this couple will not allow the pressures and agendas that Diana had to deal with to infuence and eventually destroy their life together. Charles and Horseface will, no doubt, be there grining and bowing. The best you can hope for is a horse turd in the punch bowl .. .. I wish you well, and have always applaued your independent spirit!

This is a pall on the wedding and should not have been allowed. Fergie should at least have been invited to the ceremony her own children will be in. A bad omen for this wedding. I expected more of William and Kate. To start out telling everyone how laid back and accepting you are and then cut a family member like that is a reminder of how the royals were in the past. It's not like Charles and Camilla haven't brought some shame on the family but are now apparently forgiven. William, straighten this out!

The Queen is in charge!
I feel sad for her. POOR DEAR. WHAT ARE THEY GOING TO DO WHEN HER DAUGHTERS GET MARRIED? BAN THE MOTHER...OUCH

Prince Andrew needs to grow a set of balls and tell his mother off. How petty of that woman. Camilla is the one who shouldn't be allowed to set foot in church (horseface!)

Watch out Sarah! The Queen will have you eliminated just like Lady Di! :0

I think Fergie should go to a pub and have her own party and throw darts at pictures of Camilla and Charles, and the Queen and her husband! Those are the 4 people who caused the most heartbreak in Diana life. I do think William and Kate will bring a breath of fresh air to the royals heaven know they need it.

Well said! Thank you!
I bet if Princess Diana was still alive she would have invited Sara
to the wedding. What are they afraid of? Oh cause her and Andrew aren't together. How about Camellia not go?

How very snotty and rude the royals are. If her kids are invited then she should be invited also.

There is no reason not to invite her to the wedding. Her children will be there. Too bad her exhusband hasn't got enough guts to fight for his family. Sure she made a lot of mistakes but the royal family and all their holder ons did nothing to help her get use to their way of life. Too bad they feel they are above everyone. Their not. Most of them are users living off the British people.

The royal family treats their dogs better than they treated thier sons wives. The are an antiquated useless lot that does nothing more than serve as a giant tourist attraction. Perhaps if they had given them fair and equitable divorce settlements she wouldn't have had to eek out her own living. Think of it: a woman who was married to one of the princes of England has to go make her own way!! That's dispicable. They use them for brood mares, strip them of their royal titles and throw then away. Camilla was smart for being the mistress for all those years, now she's got what she wanted and is old enough not to allow the RF to mistreat her. They should all be ashamed, they're a bunch of hypocrites.

I feel sorry for these wives and ex wives that had to put up with that Queen mum all those years and diana had to spend the night before her wedding with the Queen, how boring. Fergies daughters are wills cousins and she should have allowed to be in attendance, Kanye West will probably show up drunk so who cares! The queen is spiteful!

Sarah is divorced from Williams uncle.I can't imagine any other wedding where an ex wife of a family member would be invited,or why she would even want to go.

I agree! I wasn't invited to my ex nephew's wedding, nor did I want to be! Neither did I try to sell access to my ex for money either. I can't think of many families who would be "chummy" with a person who did that. It was totally appropriate. My daughter went and totally understood why I wasn't. There were no problems. Fergie mostly wants to go b/c she is desparate to get back into the "Firm" and the Queen's favor.
Well, since she's no longer considered family (no invite), then they have absolutely NO RIGHT to "tell" her *anything*. If it were anyone else's wedding (I'm sure she cares too much for William), I would do just the opposite to spite them, to prove that they can't tell me what to do. Just who in hell do they think they are? Sarah no longer owes them anything!

Just because someone says she was told to disappear does not mean that is what happened. People make up all sorts of stuff all the time.
I always liked Fergie - she was down to earth and funny. That stick in the mud she was married to hasn't made her life/finances all that easy all these years. She should have been invited to the wedding and shown proper respect. After all, she apologized in public for her prior actions. Give a girl a break! Good luck to you old gal :)
