Report: Chuck Lorre Preparing Charlie Sheen-less 'Two and a Half Men' Reboot

A
'Two and a Half Men' without Charlie Sheen is one step closer to reality.
According to
The Hollywood Reporter, 'Men' creator Chuck Lorre is working on a reboot of the popular CBS sitcom. Sheen would have no role in the new show, but costar Jon Cryer would.
Cryer has reportedly been presented with the plan, which would focus on his character, Alan, and a new character who has yet to be cast. Lorre is said to have presented the idea to a few other Hollywood players, and the network and studio are aware of his intention to overhaul the series.
No actor has emerged as a frontrunner to replace Sheen after reports of Rob Lowe and John Stamos were shot down. The network has yet to schedule the return of 'Two and a Half Men,' but reports indicate CBS could be eying a mid-season launch.
Sheen was fired from the popular series in March after a series of very bizarre public antics and interviews which have culminated in Sheen's cross-country tour, '
Charlie Sheen Live: My Violent Torpedo of Truth.' Depending on the location, Sheen has had bad luck with crowds on the tour.
Sheen and Warner Bros. TV are in litigation, with Sheen suing for $100 million and to get his job back.

Hats off to Chuck Lorre for trying to do something with the show. So many people are employed making that show and for one idiot to ruin it for everyone and put their jobs in jeopardy is so selfish. So, hats off to Chuck, best wishes to the 'Men' cast & crew, and successful story lines to the writers.

Lorne Greene would be the perfect replacement for Charlie Sheen.

Ok here it is...
Have Arnold Swartzenneger ( wrong spelling sue me! ) play his half brother - literally they can tell short jokes and who got the better gene jokes all day long - while Jon Cryer can make fun of his brothers voice every episode and he can be the new womanizer
Remeber I said it first...

Lorne Greene from Bonanza? lmao...he died back in the 80's
Here is my list of New Replacements
#1 - Arnold Swartzenger
#2 - Tom Arnold
#3 - Rob Lowe
#4 - Burt Reynolds - as his dad or Father in Law - That would be a hoot
#5 - Jim Carey
#6 - A funny black man....1/2 brother - call it one and a half men....lmao
I'll be here all night!

Nico has a great idea. The most plausable yet.
Judith's husband (Ryan Stiles) is funny but he's no womanizer, which is part of Charlie's lore. Most men want to be Charlie but know he's an over-the-top pig.
Dennis Leary would actually be perfect!!! Just about anyone else can't fill Charlie's character's shoes.
What made the show is Charlie's close-to-life character and his nerdy-type brother. Jake has played less of a role as he's grown up. He was far better as a child on the show. Berta is HOOT! and must return.
I love Chuck Lorre's writing......just like his success with The Big Bang Theory & Mike & Molley. Both shows make me laugh out loud, as no other shoes do.
Timing is everything! Wait too long and the re-boot will last as when John Ritter died.
