Fit for a McQueen: Kate Middleton's Stunning Wedding Dress

Bride Kate Middleton walked down the aisle Friday to marry longtime love Prince William in a stunning gown designed by Alexander McQueen creative director Sarah Burton.

According to ABC News, the gown features long sleeves, an ivory and lace bodice and 58 gazar and organza covered buttons down the back. Middleton also wore a short lace veil and a tiara, while her hair remained down.

The world has been waiting for months to see what Middleton would wear when she walked down the aisle and the bride's choice didn't let the masses down.

Fashion expert Tim Gunn called the dress "ravishing," adding that "she is not disappointing."

Some of Burton's other famous clients include Sarah Jessica Parker, Cate Blanchett, Kate Moss and First Lady Michelle Obama.

Kate looked stunning and as If she were Chaneling princess Grace when she Married Prince Rainier Of Monaco April 18th 1956. of course unlike Wills parents Grace & Rainier were married until her death September 14th 1982

She looked stunning in a very simple and tasteful gown. None of that ridiculous jellyfish crap on the bottom.

Except for their penchant for those ridiculous hats, the Brits do seem to have pretty good taste.

CATHERINE WAS ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS AND STUNNING IN HER WEDDING DRESS AND HER SISTER WAS LOVELY AS WELL AS HER BRIDES MAID. WILLIAM WAS SO HANDSOME IN HIS DASHING UNIFORM AS WAS HARRY.....IT WAS ALL IN ALL A VERY LOVELY WEDDING AND EVERYONE SEEMED SO HAPPY FOR THE COUPLE. I WISH WE COULD HAVE BEEN THERE IN PERSON FOR THIS SPECTACULAR EVENT!!!! The dress was elegant and pretty, but not what I expected to see for such a huge event. Kate's sister looked lovely too in her dress.

I find the dress too simple, doing no justice to the Westminister abbey or the Buckingham Palace. Kate is a beautiful girl but the dress is a dissapointment for the royal wedding. It was much more eye pleasing than Diana's. Given the possibility and the opportunity, she should have wowed us rather than ...oh yeah OK!
