Lisa Rinna Likes the Sound of 'Live With Kelly & Lisa'
Ten years ago when Kathie Lee Gifford left Regis Philbin, it came down to two ladies -- Kelly Ripa and Lisa Rinna -- to replace her. We all know how that turned out, but could Lisa finally be getting her chance to co-host the show?
"I love that show. I love Regis, I love him. I love sitting there. You know I was up for that gig ten years ago," Lisa told me when she sat down to dish on my HDNet show. "Kelly, she of course should have gotten the role, but every time I sit down with Regis he says it could have been yours. Ten years later, he said it again today."
Lisa recently returned to co-host the show while Kelly was on vacation and thinks it might be a good idea to fill the legend's seat with a woman.
"You can't replace Regis," she began. "[But] I think it's actually smart to put a lady in there [with] Kelly. It would be fun to co-host with her, at least see what the chemistry would be like cause we know sometimes women get along, sometimes they don't."
Talking of working with other women, Lisa told me that although her time on the 'Celebrity Apprentice' was brief, it was nevertheless unforgettable.
"It got brutal. I did get out with my life though. I did survive, it got close. Just ..." Lisa laughed before revealing she thinks she would have lasted much longer if she had been on the boy's team.
"I am just saying, most girls were out for me. Mr. Trump asked us in the beginning, who do you think is your biggest threat, and of course everyone said Star Jones or Richard Hatch. I said John Rich. Why? Because there is something about John Rich, he is very strong. Those country guys have fans and they just know how to do it and there is just something about him and I had gotten to know him."

Well, I don't know ... I'm not at all sure there will be enough room in a camera shot for Kelly, Lisa, AND those gigantic bubble lips!!!!!!!!
Plus, this is JUST what the world needs! Another talk show with women talking at the same time, talking over one another, and gossiping about sh** no one gives a crap about!!!!@

Definitely not a good choice. Kelly works well with both male & female co-hosts, while Lisa would be better off with a male.

I say no for Lisa, she thinks she is so cute, but she is nothing but a no it all or so she things. Kelly and Lisa will be fighting to see who is top dog you mark my word. I will never watch ABC again if Lisa is hired. She makes me puke.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Having Kelly with Lisa will be AWFUL!! Too much like Hoda and Kathy Lee- Can't stand that show either. THere is something about the interacting between a man and woman! Having lisa there will bring the show down, she is kind of trashy in the mouth. We don't need that!

You know, she is right. No one can replace Regis because he is one of a kind.
I kind of feel that Kelly Ripa and Lisa Rinna may not get along 100%.
I used to think that women thought the same and therefore get along. I was wrong.
Lisa Rinna is great person. I love her. I still do not like the way she left Celebrity Apprentice thanks to Star Jones.
At least she is fine where she is now.

Yes, Lisa and Kelly! Im sure Lisa loves hearing that! and so will their 3 other viewers. Please hire Lisa! The show and Kelly will FINALLY be OVER. Kelly then could focus on raising her 3 kids rather than hiring 6 nannies. poor kids probably think their mother is the paper boy!

This was a wonderful day for The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. And for all of the British Empire. The positive approach, display and respect of all well wishers epitomized tradition and eloquence. May they share much love, many years and healthy heirs.
Today, tho many around the globe face tragedy, terror and strife. Life goes on and we had the opportunity to smile and appreciate the moments and for some; memories.
