The recessional march from Westminster Abbey that ended the historic wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton (make that Duchess of Cambridge) began a long day full of photo ops.As the family gathered inside the throne room of Buckingham Palace, Queen Elizabeth II sat next to her husband, Prince Philip, for their grandson's official family portrait with his new bride. The newlyweds look genuinely delighted striking a regal pose alongside their parents, siblings and young wedding party (on the far left, 3-year-old bridal attendant Grace Van Cutsem was typically contrarian about all the pomp and circumstance). Best man Prince Harry cracks a grin next to the groom, but why was Maid of honor Pippa Middleton banished to the edge of the group?

I like the Duchess of Cornwall and so do Princes William and Harry. I'm glad she was included in the wedding photographs.

Seems everybody forgets that Diana also cheated on Chrles when they were married, she is not that innocent

They should have removed the 3 yr old who was cranky before taking the photos...she is not a cute child and her constant scowl really detracts from what should be a happy photo.
The other cross eyed girl doesn't help much either.

The "crossed eyed girl" is the Queen's grandaughter> Prince Edward is her dad.
Charles never loved Diana, at least not as a wife. He was getting old and needed to get married. A wife, Diana, was chosen for him. Camilla was far from the virgin bride needed and was never considered acceptable.

i can't stand cammlla either and why did she go with them whne they went in the back to sign their marriage certificate? i thought only the parents were to go and witness it , she is not William's mother. i felt like only charles and kate's parents should been back there. And camilla looked so disinterested at timmes during the ceremony, loking off and up and around, just bad manners

Let's just be happy for Wills and Kate! They seem much happier and have known each other for much longer than Charles and Diana did. It seems to be a love match and Kate knows what she is getting into. Diana was a naive pawn in the beginning, who Charles married on orders from Prince Philip to beget the heir and the spare.
I think Pippa was banished to the end of the shot because her white dress would have blended with Kate's and the flower girl's ended. They would have looked like one white blob.

I felt off when I saw Camilla in the picture. She and the young princes are not close, and they are not "family". She is Charles' wife and could not politically be excluded. Her presence is "politically correct", and she is legally if not relationally a part of the royal family.
