One the most (deliberately) entertaining nights of the year in Washington D.C., the annual White House Correspondents' Association dinner, took place Saturday. 'SNL' star Seth Meyers hosted, but our nation's chief executive stole the show. This year, President Obama took the mic for some comedy aimed squarely at one of the dinner guests in the room: Donald Trump.
The president didn't waste time suggesting that Trump go waste some time, investigating famous conspiracies -- neatly equating those who doubt his birthplace to those who research Roswell aliens and gripping national mysteries like 'Where are Biggie and Tupac?'
The crowd howled when the president then explained, with a straight face, the ludicrously overwrought decisions Trump made during a steak-themed 'Celebrity Apprentice' episode, and how such issues kept Obama up at night. His message was clear: The notion that hosting 'Apprentice' is comparable to running the country is pretty hilarious.
Have a look at POTUS' punchlines:

Dear sotiredofthis
You sound like the expert on style and grace. Too bad you can't follow your own observations.
That's OK cause that's politics but you news media laugh now will you still laugh when trump polls ahead of Obama. But I will agree that trump needs to stop that filthy language.

Polls mean nothing
The WH correspondents dinner is a long standing tradition where the President usually makes fun of himself and the press. It is supposed to be all in good fun. Whether you like Trump or not, he was an invited guest and shouldn't have been made the primary target. I don't care who it is, you don't invite someone and then treat them poorly.

Trump wasn't invited by the White House. He was invited by the press - namely, the Washington Post.
He treated the president worse.....he can get over it, he'll be crying about it in the news on monday morning WAH! WAH! like he always does when someone says something about him Trump is a joke he doesn't deserve any respect.
First, the press invited Trump, not the WH. Second, the real question is why would Trump have the nerve to show up at this event. Just shows how pompous he is. He deserved all that was dished out to him. The shoe was on the other foot for a change and he didn't seem to be very amused. Serves him right. Hilarious.
I think this president is a joke without opening his mouth. Can't he find something resembling his job to occupy his time?

Damn you must have been REALLY pissed off for the eight years previous to this POTUS. Bush spent about 1/3 of his presidency on vacation.
That "idiot" Donald Trump should have had sense enough to decline the invitation. Mr. President used his time wisely. The question isn't who wrote the President's speech but who advised Donald Trump after badmouthing the President for weeks to go to His dinner? Not a good move. He makes republicans look like exactly who they are... Obama for 2012, yes, yes, yes!

So Trump was belittled by our affirmative-action President because he doesn't make important decisions? Hey, Obammy, he has built an empire and created jobs for thousands of people. Your presidency has been a total failure and created less jobs.
