One the most (deliberately) entertaining nights of the year in Washington D.C., the annual White House Correspondents' Association dinner, took place Saturday. 'SNL' star Seth Meyers hosted, but our nation's chief executive stole the show. This year, President Obama took the mic for some comedy aimed squarely at one of the dinner guests in the room: Donald Trump.
The president didn't waste time suggesting that Trump go waste some time, investigating famous conspiracies -- neatly equating those who doubt his birthplace to those who research Roswell aliens and gripping national mysteries like 'Where are Biggie and Tupac?'
The crowd howled when the president then explained, with a straight face, the ludicrously overwrought decisions Trump made during a steak-themed 'Celebrity Apprentice' episode, and how such issues kept Obama up at night. His message was clear: The notion that hosting 'Apprentice' is comparable to running the country is pretty hilarious.

I find it hilarious that all the conspiracy theorists are now berating Obama for picking on poor Donald and that he should have just showed his birth certificate in the first place. Why should he ??? It is ridiculous to think that one could even get anywhere near the highest office of the U.S. in the first place without being a citizen. Why lower himself to the level of the idiots who are simply demanding it due to the possibility that "gasp" he might be a muslim. No wonder the U.S. is going down the drain. Get real people.

Honestly, don't you think that when Obama filed to run for President that Board of Elections asked for his birth certificate? And if there were any issues, they would have been dealt with then? Same with McCain. C'mon people...let's move on.

I love Obama! Trump should concentrate on his hair!

One must as the question: If Obama's father had been white and born in say, England, would it ever have been an issue?
Of course not. But his father was not only black, not only NOT descended from slaves, but black and from Africa.
Racism is alive and well in America, unfortunately.

OMG!! I was so happy the President was finally able to put Thrump in his place. But, if looks could kill, Seth Meyers would be 6 ft. under. I don't know how The "Donald" was able to contain himself. I bet he went home and stuck pins in a Meyers doll. I think Trump got a good idea what the public thinks of him thinking he has a chance of being a nominee, let along the President the U.S.

Donald isn't worth Barack Obama's little toe nail. He's in bankruptcy with several casinos and has cheated on every woman he's been with openly. When he found out people viewed that in a dim light, he bought the Miss USA pageant so that he had an excuse to oogle young woman professionally.
He's a terrible man who knew very well where this president was born. The State of Hawaii offered a copy of this subject birth certificate LONG AGO.
Donald Trump is a very tiny little man.

Obummer doesn't no how to run a hot dog stand let alone a country. He carried on the birther issue, and he still is! He's very thin skinned!

Laura sweetie, do you have any idea what you are talking about? He's thin skinned? How do you figure? He has always been in the right and now he's laughing at the morons who tried to crucify him. It's the "wrong" (right) wing that's thin skinned as usual.
Sounds like Obama is giving way for him to take being president!

never an excuse to miss a party, i mean falf of the south is suffering but we got to party, he has no respect, he does absolutely nothing, it is shameful!

Read a newspaper Obama was in the south visiting tornado victims yesterday he went to the dinner as 14 presidents have since 1924 because its a tradition.
I love how the President handled this. He let the birthers get all whipped up into a frenzy for two years under the absolute conviction that they were right, and then he pulled the rug out from under them. Now they are red in the face and looking like vindictive aholes. Especially that sh!teater Trump and all of FUX TV.
Good job Mr. President! You've got my vote!

What is hilarious to begin with regarding this birth certificate issue is that everyone really thinks our government is so lacking that we would even allow someone to run for president who isn't an American citizen. I'm sure these issues were dealt with before Obama even ran for president.

The sad thing is Obama didn't have to use much more then talking ABOUT Donald Trump to make fun of Donald Trump. Jokes wrote themselves....that says something.

I don't think Trump wants to run for president, but after that batch of pot shots & all those gushy Obama fans enjoying Obama sticking it to him, Trump is pissed & will be seeking vengeance. Go get him Donald! You have the means, power & brains to take President Snarky down to ex president Whiney and since you don't want to run for president anyway, what can he do back?

Glad to see the President is making good use of his time in office. Sigh...

That was a nice one and it was surprising the arrogant racist, could not afford a smile and expose his wacko lack of humor. When he talks he feels like the whole world is beneath him so he can go Saudi and demand money and they would just give it to him because of his hair. He was not even ashamed to say that on air.
I really loved it. Yes all you Americans who keep attacking this intelligent Harvard educated professor of law-purely because of his race are really MAD. I don't have problems with those who genuinely do I because you disagree but that can be one with civility. Have any of you attempted to get into Harvard-certainly not else you would not think of this first Africa-American student who became the first to be in Charge of Harvard law review.
You think he caused all the deficit etc, even on the day that he was sworn-in, so is a surprise that he is being blamed only 2 years into office. You have all forgotten how bad and scary it was because things are gradually improving. You did the same to Clinton but after 8 years he turned a deficit into surplus. Have you forgotten that a chunk of the deficit was due to a war in Iraq, and subsequently measure taken to bring the economy from sliding into depression. All these attacks clearly has nothing to do with policies but all to do with racism is a small minority who has resolved to delegitimize a guy with color in the white house- well tough, because most of Americans can read into your strategy and it is not going to work!!
