Watch President Obama Roast Donald Trump in D.C.

One the most (deliberately) entertaining nights of the year in Washington D.C., the annual White House Correspondents' Association dinner, took place Saturday. 'SNL' star Seth Meyers hosted, but our nation's chief executive stole the show.

This year, President Obama took the mic for some comedy aimed squarely at one of the dinner guests in the room: Donald Trump.

The president didn't waste time suggesting that Trump go waste some time, investigating famous conspiracies -- neatly equating those who doubt his birthplace to those who research Roswell aliens and gripping national mysteries like 'Where are Biggie and Tupac?'

The crowd howled when the president then explained, with a straight face, the ludicrously overwrought decisions Trump made during a steak-themed 'Celebrity Apprentice' episode, and how such issues kept Obama up at night. His message was clear: The notion that hosting 'Apprentice' is comparable to running the country is pretty hilarious.

The worlds of news and entertainment collided all night, as headline-makers mingled at the black-tie event and its related parties. Revelers spotted by the Washington Post on Saturday included Sarah and Bristol Palin, Anna Paquin and Steven Moyer, Paula Abdul, Salma Hayek, Mila Kunis, America Ferrera, David Arquette, Bill O'Reilly, Don Cheadle, Cee Lo Green, Bradley Cooper, Scarlett Johansson, Rosario Dawson, Jane Lynch, Buzz Aldrin, Rashida Jones, Chris Matthews, John Legend and Wolf Blitzer.

Trump is just at typical Republican. Very good at giving it out, even lying or telling tales for affect, but when he get's it back well that's "inappropriate". If he was dealing with the issues instead of the birther foolishness he wouldn't have been targeted. This is the first President in our long history who has had his birth questioned. - - - - - - - Gee, do you think that it's because he's black !!!

Is is so stupid. You cant even run if you are not born in America. Any one who has any sense knows that his birth was investigated at the beginning of his campaign as a senator. All presidential candidates are screened for this. We have some dumb people in America (Trump) but not Obama. He did a great job sticking it to Trump. It was very funny. And he got Bin Laden too. Bush couldnt or wouldnt even look for Bin Laden.

Thump had no reason to show up at that dinner. He was never going to run for office. Even through he said he was thinking about it. Trump just what to be laugh by everybody there. That served him to get laugh at because Trump is a loser.
