Anne Hathaway stars in the upcoming romantic comedy-drama 'One Day' as British singleton, Emma. And in the trailer released Monday, she unveils a believable British accent. The film also stars Jim Sturgess, who played the lead in the 2008 flick, '21,' opposite Kevin Spacey, as Hathaway's love interest, Dexter. Based on the bestselling novel by David Nicholls, the movie is a story about Emma and Dexter: two friends who meet on the last day of college in 1988 and who stay in touch for the next 20 years. The movie, like the book, checks in on them on the same day each year.

Tell me, is there a more beautiful, talented, likeable and sexy actress in the film industry today than Anne Hathaway? I don't thing so!!! Bring it on, Annie, I'll see it at least several times!!!

Maybe...but we get tired of seeing the same old thing. Take a break Anne, then take on something with a lot less fluff.
Ummm..., I "thing" you are crazy. Anne Hathway is a one trick pony. Go away Anne. You are so yesterday!
Anne is the best young American actress around. She rocks! She doesn't use her personal life to increase her visibility, like some who sadly drag their kids around for the paps (and you know who you are!)

"rocking a British accent" has got to be the dumbest expression I ever heard

Rocking a British accent? More like butchering it! That is one of the least convincing accents of all time. Stop buying into the Anne Hathaway propoganda, people - she is NOT that talented...her only talent is geting her t&^s out in every movie she makes.

where are you from?
So this is an updated british version of When Harry Met Sally...looks good..lets see if it actually delivers.

Nope, not even close.
I like Anne Hathaway..however she does not rock the british accent...and the problem is not her fault. The accent is not consistent...one minute it's home counties (around london), the next its from manchester / northwest..plus some other variations.

The problem is Anne is a terrible actress. There aren't enough talented and gorgeous British actresses in the world?! (Sarcasm!) They have to stick a bad accent on an idiot like Hathaway. So sad.
her accent is terrible!!!!!!!!!!! i still like her though but she needs to actually live there for 6 months to a year to get it down. it drops from time to time in the trailer and she sounds american with a fake British accent on her. i like her and i think shes a really good actress but accents that over the pond are not for her or for most american actors and actresses.

Talk about WHO CARES?! That is her job to be able to take on an accent! Is that REALLY NEWS?! Um - BLOODY NO!!!!

Watchting the trailer, her 'British' accent is horrendous. I couldn't bear to watch an entire film filled with that.
