Donald Trump Congratulates President Obama on 'Great Victory'

In what may be seen as a grand gesture of mea culpa, Donald Trump took to Twitter to congratulate Barack Obama for his administration's victory in the takedown of Osama Bin Laden.

Although Trump's recent focus has been on Obama's origins, it seems as though Obama took his time in producing a copy of his birth certificate do to a slight preoccupation with a global endeavor -- capturing the man responsible for the events of September 11, 2001.

"I want to personally congratulate President Obama and the men women of the Armed Forces for a job very well done," Trump tweeted. "I am so proud to see Americans standing shoulder to shoulder, waving the American flag in celebration of this great victory."

Trump went on to urge his fellow Americans to lay by the wayside their party lines -- an ironic request by the resident king of party politics.

"We should spend the next several days not debating party politics, but in remembrance of those who lost their lives on 9/11 and those fighting for our freedom," he continued. "God Bless America."

But Trump's validation of the president's efforts were given a backseat to the touting of his golf special -- "Don't forget to watch Donald J. Trump's Fabulous World of Golf---tonight at 9 pm" -- about which he tweeted just minutes before congratulating the president.

For a man who has become, for some, a serious potential contender in the 2012 presidential election, it seems as though his priorities are a bit out of whack.

I think Trump is a DISGUSTING sack of DOG-DOO, even though he has a few good Ideas!!!!! But what Obama did at that get together wa just going down to TRUMPS level- That was uncalled for from a President with a "brain"--I have NO respect for either of them under those conditions!!!!

Re: the trump article..first of all it should read, "due to", not *do to*
Need a proof reader?..There seem to be a lot of spelling and grammatical errors on a lot of these articles.
Secondly, if trump wanted to PERSONALLY congratulate the President..instead of tweeting it..he shoulda "manned up" to use the conservatives past talking points...and at the very least, called The President up...and offered his congrats.
Finally, no one cares about trump. Might he wanna see OBL's death certificate, to know without a doubt, that he has been killed???

If you pretend to be a proofreader, please write correctly. Due to is a poor expression, replace with because. Wanna is not a word. Congratulate is spelled wrong. Trump is a proper name, capitalize it. The military deserve congratulations, not your hero O. He was busy planning his next vacation... It took all this time to find Bin Laden, with too many young lives lost and too much money being spent. A step in the right direction, but certainly not the end to it all...

Thank you for pointing out that the President had bigger problems on his priority list than meet the demands of the big headed TRUMP. I'm happy that the president waited to produce his birth certificate, it shows he is obviously busy with bigger problems, aka terrorists. IN YOUR FACE TRUMP. How does it feel to know that you were put on the back burner so the President could track leads the military were getting on the most wanted terrorist in America?? I'd say Trump's priorities are definitely out of whack. @W you are so right, Trump should "man up" and congradulate him in person instead of Twitter, such a coward!
