Lindsay Lohan is ready to move on from her troubled past and has reportedly decided to plead 'no contest' to her misdemeanor theft charges.Sources told TMZ the actress' lawyer Shawn Holley is expected to go to Judge Stephanie Sautner as early as this week to present the plea. Lohan's trial date is currently set for early June.
Lohan has been sentenced to 120 days in jail and 480 hours community service stemming from a probation violation connected to her jewelry theft case. The actress and her lawyer are banking on the judge not throwing additional jail time on top of the plea.
According to TMZ, L.A. County Sheriff's spokesperson Steve Whitmore said he believes Lohan would serve three weeks of her four month sentence due to overcrowding.

There are other, much more important things going on in this world than this hopped-up skank's escapades. Just throw the idiot in jail and be done with it. SHE'S USELESS anyway.

She can do three months standing on her head. And just may.
"No Contest" means, GUILTY.

Maybe, but I kind of think she just gives up and wants to get on with her life. Side note~ I think she stole it! She has gotten away with so much thus far, that I think she thought she was untouchable. Now I think she just wants to get past it. Hopefully she's grown up and wil knock her bratty sh!t off!
She needs to get this over with so she can make some money for her next rehab and court case!

What a piece of crap this girl is, time to flush her down the toilet.

I like the way she calls it a 'chapter.' It's not a chapter it's poor decision making and criminal behavior that just does not go away. It's not a book, it's life and she needs someone to tell her that. But they won't, don't want to stop the gravy train.

Poor Lindsay Lohan! Despite her youth, years of substance abuse are etched on her once beautiful now prematurely aged face. :(

It's not poor Lindsay anymnore. She is unwilling to accept any type of responsibility or accept the fact she can not do as she pleases. Three more weeks ( early release) in jail is not going to teach her these lessons. She nees to do a real six months in jail and then a real six months as an in patient for her addictions if she is goin g to get on the right track.

Oh, I'm sure it's already as dry as it can be from overexposure.
Time for her to go to jail. We certainly do NOT want to see her skanky azz on the big screen anymore.
Linzey, face it girl, you suck.

She'll only have to serve 3 weeks of 120 day sentence (because of overcrowding) and they are "banking" on no additional jail time. That says it all. Can you see what is happening? She's pleading guilty and she's not afraid of jail anymore because she knows she won't ever have to be there long. What is the incentive for her to stop acting like she can do whatever she wants? There isn't any.
There isn't a person out there that can tell me she isn't getting special treatment. You just try getting away with the crap she has and see where you end up. She should serve the whole 120 and get more dumped on top if she pleads no contest.

3 weeks of a 4 month sentence due to over crowding? She is such a joke. Put her in prison for 4 months instead of jail. No contest, just say guilty. She better give up on her acting career, no one would ever spent their money to see her on the big screen.

Unfortunately, prison is only for sentences of more than one year. Pity, as she really does belong there.
Lindsay Lohan cannot "move on from her troubled past" since SHE is the trouble, and trouble is where Lindsay Lohan is. We've all made mistakes but this is one arrogant, self entitled brat that doesn't really want to work; she want's it all handed to her on a silver platter. There are far too many talented, pretty, ethical hardworking actresses out there and to keep reporting on Lohan is really a disservice to the good.
She needs to move on alright....move on out of the public eye.

Lindsay should plead 'Not Guilty due to Diminished Capacity.' God knows that she has klepto, nympho, necro, kopro, and several other manias bouncing around in her head at the same time. I may not be a dotor, but I calls 'em like I sees 'em. -- Yer pal, Ferrari Bubba

A little message to all the directors and producers out there. I will never NEVER watch anything with Lindsey Lohan in it. Just remember that when casting a new project.

Linsay use to be attractive but the last few years she looks twice her age and soooo skanky! She needs to stop the drugs and start taking care of herself. She lives a very self destructive life style.

She should have taken the first plea deal. She obviously took the necklace, but she's a right fighter even when she's wrong. And where does that put her? In jail.

I hope Danette Myers does decide to appeal the reduction in the charge from felony to misdemeanor. I guess Lindsay and SH forget that they don't set the terms.
