MTV Movie Awards mark a very special time of year -- a small window when you'll find teen favorites facing off against Oscar-winners on an equal playing field. Boosting the coolness of this year's showdowns is the caveat that MTV will allow online votes for Best Movie from today until the conclusion of the live ceremony (
hosted by 'Saturday Night Live' star Jason Sudeikis) on Sunday, June 5.

Oh please. Why bother? Just hand the awards over to Twilight, because those tweens love their sparkly vampires.

LMAO, MTV knows good films as much as they do good music!

Harry Potter! Harry Potter Harry Potter! The film was fantastic; not just for fanatic fans! Emma, Rupert, and Helena Bonham Carter's performances stood out amazingly, as well as the score and visual effects! They deserve to win after the decade-long adventure.

unfortunately I have a feeling that twilight will win because of the insane amount of 12-year-old girls and twihards who will vote the other way. Still, Harry Potter should win. The most recent film was incredibly well-done in all aspects (acting, cinematography, directing, plot, etc.) and in my opinion is the best film of the series--so far. Since I do not judge anything without giving it a fair chance, I have seen the most recent twilight film and I can't say the same. I understand they're appeal, especially to young girls, but they just can't hold a candle to the awesomeness of Harry Potter.
Really, all I needed to write was Harry Potter>Twilight, but I thought I'd make myself look sophisticated lol
