Hat Trick: How Fergie Got Last Laugh at Wedding

Even though The Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson, was not invited to attend the Royal Wedding on Friday, she had the last laugh when her bold daughters Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie turned up in those
ridiculous and show-stopping hats.
"I'm sure Sarah helped pick out those hats," a close friend of Fergie's tells me. "The one thing Sarah hates more than anything is being ignored and this was her way of saying f-you to the family who would rather pretend she doesn't exist."
Beatrice's intricate bow-like hat raised eyebrows from the second she stepped out of her car at Westminster Abby, while her younger sister's royal blue fashion statement included purple flowers and large white feathers.
Reviews were pretty consistently bad for the hats.
The Daily Mail called their fascinators "ludicrous" and "flops" and Tori Spelling told
E! that "they looked a little crazytown."
There's even a blog for goofing on B's hat, aptly named
Princess Beatrice and Her Hat.
"There is a lot of competition within the family to out-dress each other," my insider tells me. "And nothing draws more attention to you than an elaborate hat. I guarantee you that a lot of time, thought and money went into selecting these works of art. Nothing happens by chance in that family!"

WOW, I love costume parties but I would never dress up as a toilet seat.

Why am I not surprised that Fergie had something to do with those awful get-ups. If it weren't for bad taste, she would have no taste at all. It's sad to see her beautiful girls taking after her appalling taste. Let's hope they don't behave as badly as she has behaved in the past.

I think Obama was the one seeking revenge for not being invited to the wedding. I can sure see why he wasn't, but I think he timeed the raid on Osama Bin Laden when he did to shove the Royal Wedding in the back ground.
If you had of not acted like an arse and returned the bust of Churchilll, had you wife kept her hands off the queen, had a lot of your idiotic bloopers world wide not have occured, you may have been invited. A lot of heads of other countries were.

To the Camilla haters: She has conducted herself like a lady since marrying Prince Charles. She keeps a low profile and does her job. Fergie, on the other hand, is always doing something a little silly and getting her name in the tabloids. Furthermore, Camilla is the WIFE of the heir to the throne. Fergie is a has been royal. As for, the royals trying to outdress each other...I thought the rest of the women looked lovely. No one else took quite the fashion risks as Beatrice and Eugenie. If they don't want to get a backbone and stand up to their mother then whatever fallout there is, is on them! I'm sure Granny the Queen had plenty to say to the girls about those hats! She strikes me as one you would not want to cross to many times! The Tower is still there!!! ;-)
