Kelly Preston Joins Mob Cast as John Travolta's Wife, Victoria Gotti

It looks like art will imitate life for Kelly Preston -- except for the whole organized crime thing, of course. According to Radar Online, Preston is slated to play real-life husband, John Travolta's wife in the forthcoming 'Gotti: Three Generations.'

The biopic, which also boasts Lindsay Lohan as a member of the famed crime family, is set to begin filming in New York in January of 2012 and follows John Gotti and John Gotti Jr.'s relationship.

And keeping things all in the family, PEOPLE reports that the Preston and Travolta's real-life daughter, Ella Bleu, will also join the cast as their on-screen daughter, Angel Gotti.

But the Travolta family performance may be upstaged by on screen daughter-in-law, Lohan's, real-life Gotti encounter.

Lohan, who will play Kim Gotti, recently told Jay Leno that she actually met the Don himself, John Gotti, when she was 3-years-old.

Leno joked, "That's bad, hanging out with John Gotti when you're three. That could by why you're in so much trouble!"

We have no doubt that this threesome will be able to recreate all of the drama and mystery of the real gruesome Gotti group.

Never been a huge Lohan fan, but recently watched "Parent Trap" for the first time...the girl does have talent. I think the success of a movie like this will depend on how much of an edge it's given...if it's fluff, it'll flop.

Why not play the role of a gay-ggster's wife....Preston plays the wife of a gay in real life! Finally the whole family can get to work now that Jett is out of the picture. Then again perhaps he could have played the role of a "plant".

I grew up in Howard Beach.. knew John, Victoria.. daughter Victoria, brother Junior..all of them. To see the Travolta's playing this part.. really makes a joke out of everyone... a real made for tv movie.....
