Kristen Bell, Dax Shepard Not Planning a Wedding
Don't expect
Kristen Bell to walk down the aisle any time soon, if at all. Though she's engaged to 'Parenthood' star Dax Shepard, the 'Scream 4' actress revealed there are no wedding plans in their future.
"We're just not having a wedding, so there's no story to report there," she recently told
UsMagazine.com. "I mean, we're still getting married, but we're going to do it whenever we feel like it."
The low-key couple, who became
engaged in February 2010, feel like they don't necessarily need a huge shindig to celebrate their commitment to each other.
"The fact that he asked me to marry him is of a little more importance than me planning a party," Bell said.
Though there are no wedding plans to dish about, the actress had only great things to say about her husband-to-be.
"He constantly keeps me laughing: when I'm sad, mad, frustrated, annoyed. Regardless of what it is he can lighten the mood," she said of Shepard, adding "He's so funny that it's overwhelming."
Rumors popped up earlier this year that the actors had
already tied the knot after Bell referred to Shepard as her "husband" in a
tweet, but the couple have denied the reports.

Dax has been on My Name Is Earl a few times, hes funny on that show. He also was in the movie Lets Go To Prison, a hilarious movie. It sounds like he doesnt want a public wedding, I dont blame him. Being in show business cant be all fun, and games, every move is under a micro scope, I would keep things a secret too.

Having a wedding 'to me' is a waste of perfectly good money, and its all for show. After its over the only thing left is a memory, and some photos. I would much rather keep the money, and use it for lifes little ups and downs, like a lawyer when its over a few months later.
