George Clooney Celebrates 50th Birthday

Happy Birthday, George Clooney! Celebrating his May 6 birthday, Clooney was spotted in Beverly Hills dining at Mr. Chow along with his Italian girlfriend, Elisabetta Canalis. Joining the couple for the meal, according to the New York Post, were restaurateur Michael Chow and his wife, Eva.

Other famous guests were seen congratulating the Kentucky native on his milestone birthday. The luxe eatery was reportedly brimming with stars -- including Kirstie Alley, Kathy Griffin, Kelly Preston, Jackie Collins and Ray Romano -- last night.

Alley later tweeted: "I was at Mr. Chows...Best food forever in L.A...Happy birthday George Clooney...Great to see u...Better to hug u."

Canalis may have been by Clooney's side for birthday cake, but will she share a slice of wedding cake with him in the future? Not likely. The actor insisted earlier this year on CNN that he had no plans to marry again.

That didn't stop his peer and pal, Ellen DeGeneres, from teasing him on Twitter: "Happy 50th birthday to my friend George Clooney. I hope 50 brings you the same things it brought me; great looks, success, and a wedding."

happy belated birthday to Mr Clooney. though turning 50 isn't a big deal. try turning 87 like Eva Marie Saint does July 4th granted you won't cover that because you have no respect for oscar nominated/winning Icons same thing with Vivian Leigh who would celebrate her centenial this year or Paul Newman who would turn 87 January 26th 2012 and have celebrated his 54th wedding anniversary with Joanne Woodward 3 days later on the 29th. age ain't nothing but a number
