Bristol Palin Lands Her Own Reality Show

Bristol Palin has scored her own reality series. The daughter of Sarah Palin, former governor of Alaska, will star in her own series on BIO.

According to BIO, the currently untitled show will follow Palin as she moves from Alaska to Los Angeles with her baby, Tripp. She goes to work at a small charity and moves in with fellow 'Dancing With the Stars' contestant Kyle Massey and his brother, Christopher.

"Bristol is the kind of personality BIO is drawn to," David McKillop, executive vice president of programming, A&E Network and BIO Channel, said in a statement. "Her personal life has been playing out in the media for several years but this will be the first time she's opening up her real life, with her son and her friends the Massey Brothers."

Bristol Palin shot to fame after her teenage pregnancy made headlines during her mother's vice presidential run.

Palin has previously appeared on 'Sarah Palin's Alaska' and was a finalist along with her reality show castmate Kyle Massey in 'Dancing With the Stars.'

Last July, rumors about a potential Palin and Levi Johnston reality show swirled when the couple briefly reconciled. Those never came to fruition and Palin joined 'Dancing With the Stars.' She also has a memoir, 'Not Afraid of Life,' in the works.

Dear heavens, another Palin thrown into the tv ring, again....
Would not, could not and will not watch. I am so sick of these media hounding so called celebrities. If this is what running for high ranking political offices does to a person, our government is in big, big trouble.

Yep looks like she's had some work done on the face. Guess being a "teen advocate" must pay well. Why would I care to watch her a reality show? Her personality is dry as dust. And a memoir??About what? How she got knocked up by a high school dropout? Gotta say it-teen pregnancy sure was profitable for her.

Why?

I don't hold anything against the woman but she's not done enough in her life to be all that interesting. Certainly not enough to warrant a weekly show about her.

What is wrong with TV...she had a baby and isnt married..she bought a home in AZ. and paid cash, now moving in with 2 guys..hummmm...looks like she has had plastic surgery..her mothers a quitter, first mayor, then governor...her whole family is wac-o...now a reality show..she is making money off of having an illigimate kid...what is that telling our young girls...

Hey Kat~

Are you referring to the fact that this article is getting a post every 1.5 minutes or the fact that todays entertainment programs are using this as their opening story? What I find funny is posters who claim they won't watch the show , have posted multiple times in the past about Bristol. They can't get enough of the Pallin family and will watch the reality show. ( if for no other reason , it gives them a chance to slam her on the internet.) The show is only scheduled for 10 weeks but those here WILL BE WATCHING cuz they can't help themselves
