It seems like there's a curse on the fourth season of 'The Jersey Shore.' The MTV show was supposed to begin filming its next season in Italy this week, but production has been delayed, again, due to logistical problems.According to RadarOnline.com, the city of Florence has revoked the show's permits to film at several historical landmarks, including the Uffizi gallery and Palazzo Vecchio.
Several cast members, including Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino and Paul 'DJ Pauly D' DelVecchio were filmed, bags packed and ready to roll, at the airport last week but MTV told them to hang tight until the show figures out a plan.
This hiccup in production is just latest speed bump for the producers. Problems began when several cast members held out for bigger raises last month, which first delayed their trip.

They won't let them into the country without their shots, and even MTV doesn't have the budget to clear up all those STD's.
Bravo Italia!

Italy doesn't need the std's
I just got home from a rough day at work, thanks for the laugh. so true.
Touché! Oh please, say it isn't so! Who will our impressionable teenagers emulate have to look-up to without the Jersey Shore cast? I knew I loved Italy!
and the bad news is?

Besides, if they can't film in bars and can't drink in public, what's left? I haven't even seen the show and i can already tell you, NOT MUCH!
HUMANNOID ANIMALS like this belong in the dirty waters as shown within. Maybe this whole thing of looking for a better piece of pizza is BECAUSE they are losing exposure big time. Remember HUMANNOIDS summer exposure is for only 4 months. A real pig pen affair.

Great for italy!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am Italian and those goonies need to be kept out of Italy. What a slap if they let these idiots in their country. Send them to the rainforest where they can stay!!!!!!

I agree. However, droppping them in a rainforest would be pollution. I say just leave them in New Jersey, where they belong. It is never a good idea to take "creatures" out of their familar envoronment and put them in unknown surroundings. New Jersey is where they belong. Sorry New Jersey. The Jersey Shore group is the there Susan B. Anthony coin, it seemed like a good idea at the time but just didn't work out and pissed everyone off because they didn't understand the need for it.
Why are you mad if they aren't even Italian? (Some of em are) but still it would be a shame on the Americans that they have people like that...
@Everyone... It seems like ya'll are a bunch of 40 year old people that have never party hard in your life, What were ya doing in your Teenage and early adulthood (18-30 years old)?
Hopefully these idiots will get a real job and shut down the entire production forever. MTV needs to be taken out like Bin Laden.

They may have to settle for a gondola ride through the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas!

Thank goodness Italy has the sense to keep this garbage out of their beautiful country. Now, if only the rest of us could put an end to these moronic people and their show.

What amazed me was the false pretense that they are from New Jersey. Friends were in from New Jersey and they state that the creeps in question are actually from New York but frequent the Jersey beaches.
I would be able to stand 1 more season......but only if you blow up the cast at the end.

The entire show is a disgrace to the Italain people, I have never watched it ,nor has anyone I know. The stereotype over dressed, loud, gaudy, uneducated image they show to the public is an affront to decent Italians everywhere. Show a little taste America stop watching this trash. Reality shows are nothing more than scripted soap operas with no dialouge . Bad boys and bad girls all behaving like they have no regard for anything or anyone. It's disgusting how they look and act, and even more digusting how they now charge tens of thousands to make a public appearence. What is wrong with this picture.

If they can't have it in Italy, they should have the season in Vegas.
