Whitney Houston Enters Rehab for Drugs and Alcohol

Whitney Houston has entered rehab, according to TMZ. The site's source says she checked herself into a facility about 10 days ago.

"Whitney Houston is currently in an out-patient rehab program for drug and alcohol treatment," Houston's rep tells PEOPLE. "Whitney voluntarily entered the program to support her long-standing recovery process."

Houston, 47, has publicly battled drugs and alcohol in the past, entering rehab both in 2004 and 2005. Recently, Houston's 18-year-old daughter Bobbi Kristina has been caught up in an alleged cocaine scandal of her own.

Houston is allowed to leave her rehab facility with a monitor. "Just last weekend, Houston was enjoying herself at a Prince concert in LA ... with her daughter right by her side," TMZ writes.

A TMZ source adds that Houston's visit to rehab comes as "she's cleansing herself to get ready for a new movie."

Its basically really simple: A drunk will steal your wallet, and a coke ho and junkie will not only steal your wallet, but also help you looking for it ..
Kinda sad but she is a washed up addict, that has not accepted the fact that she is just that. She tries frantically to put a Bandaid on an oozing mental cancer.. She is one of those that will some day be found dead with a needle in her arm.. Well, at least she can stop blaming her ex hubby for her demise...

I don't feel sorry for her or anyone using drugs. It is a foolish choice that she and drug users make just to give themselves pleasure and/or to be sociable the user's own social circle. She is the reasons why thousands of people suffered and died from her own selfish desires. I worked in ER and see so many lives that can be saved from these thugs of the society. Let them die. No mercy whatsoever.

When I see these stars, they do not seem to be human to me. We don't know what goes on behind closed doors. I'm in love with Prince. My folks tell me it's just an image that I'm infatuated with. They are people just like us. I cannot believe they have problems just like ourselves. So many people have kicked Whitney off the boat.

The only Whitney Houston I know of is a HAS BEEN! A girl who had talent but decided that being trash was more to her liking!

Sad to say, but I am surprised she is still alive. Her daughter is now 18 and look at the problems she is getting into. Goes to prove that old saying, "The Apple doesn't fall far from the Tree".

While WH was an absolutely incredible singer, she is merely drug trash that can sing now. Did you ever watch that program with her and Bobby Brown. Holy cats, SHE was a mess and a lousy mother. How Bobby Brown got the wrong end of that stick is still beyond my understanding.
