Now that Adele is 'Rolling in the Deep' when it comes to her bank account, her ex-boyfriend is claiming that he inspired her debut album, '19,' and deserves a cut of the profits."For about a week he was calling and was deadly serious about it," she told The Sun. "Finally, I said, 'Well, you made my life hell, so I lived it and now I deserve it.'"
With song titles like 'Cold Shoulder' and 'Melt My Heart to Stone,' we don't blame her.
Following the epic success of her latest album, '21,' her 2008 album has shot back up on the charts, prompting Adele's ex, whom she refuses to name, to come out of the woodwork, looking to cash in on her royalties.

Typical, now that she is famous, he don't want her, just money. Let him sue her and see how far he gets. Nothing.

This guy is a BUM......plain & simple ....he's a BUM.
I highly doubt that 19 was really THAT inspired by that guy. I mean, there weren't any songs on there called, "D****bag," "What a Piece of Work," and "Money Grubbing Pig."

She is one of the best singers out there today. Her voice is amazing. I hope she sticks to what she's doing and doesn't try to crossover into more pop-oriented music since she's said that's the kind of music she listens to. I like some of it, too, but there's more than enough of it out there.

Sounds like the ultimate gold digger to me. If he has a signed contract with her -- then pay him. Otherwise, he should take a hike.

Well, if the situation were reversed, he'd have to pay her something. Just sayin'.

@Russ
He's her exboyfriend, not her exwife. Yes, I said that, cause he's being a whiny baby, definitely not man enough to be someone's husband.
Ya, well, guess it sucks to be a dude sometimes then. Cheers :P
Hmmm, he should be able to sue her ONLY if she can countersue for her therapist bills.

Sounds like it's a good think he's the 'EX' boyfriend. Learn and move on. Besides do you know how many songs have been written for YEARS about real people who inspired them. Give it up.

Well if I were lucky enough to be Adele's bf, i would never ask for a penny, I would shower her with love and praise, but I would insist she quit smoking those nasty cigarettes of hers! You're too beautiful for that Adele!!!!!!

Creep wants royalties cause he was a creep??? really? NOOOOOOO you don't slimebag, and to "russ" the moron, what the heck do you mean he would have to pay if the roles were reversed? Nobody deserves a pay out for being a slimey human being

If ex's could make money off their ex-boyfriend/girlfriend's break-up songs.. all of taylor swift's ex's would be cashing in.

Screw him. If that were the case then every inspiration song like Tayler Swift boyfriends that inspire her songs can get money .It is a stupid idea on his part. Obveriously he is a moron .
