Adele's Ex-Boyfriend Wants Money for Inspiring Album

Now that Adele is 'Rolling in the Deep' when it comes to her bank account, her ex-boyfriend is claiming that he inspired her debut album, '19,' and deserves a cut of the profits.

"For about a week he was calling and was deadly serious about it," she told The Sun. "Finally, I said, 'Well, you made my life hell, so I lived it and now I deserve it.'"

With song titles like 'Cold Shoulder' and 'Melt My Heart to Stone,' we don't blame her.

Following the epic success of her latest album, '21,' her 2008 album has shot back up on the charts, prompting Adele's ex, whom she refuses to name, to come out of the woodwork, looking to cash in on her royalties.

"He really thought he'd had some input into the creative process by being a p--ck. I'll give him this credit -- he made me an adult and put me on the road that I'm traveling."

But apparently that 'road' is one that Adele fell into rather than chose.

"I'm a huge fan of pop music," she said. "I love it. I don't listen to music like my own. I just seem to click with the acoustic, honest and moving music ... I adore get your t-ts out music."

We think Adele is right to stick to her day job.

I highly doubt that 19 was really THAT inspired by that guy. I mean, there weren't any songs on there called, "D****bag," "What a Piece of Work," and "Money Grubbing Pig."

She is one of the best singers out there today. Her voice is amazing. I hope she sticks to what she's doing and doesn't try to crossover into more pop-oriented music since she's said that's the kind of music she listens to. I like some of it, too, but there's more than enough of it out there.

Sounds like it's a good think he's the 'EX' boyfriend. Learn and move on. Besides do you know how many songs have been written for YEARS about real people who inspired them. Give it up.
