Bristol Palin Admits to Jaw-Enhancing Surgery
Although
Bristol Palin previously denied that surgery had anything to do with her drastically altered visage, now she's singing a different tune, admitting that she did, in fact, go through a procedure that gave her a sleek new jaw.
"I had corrective jaw surgery," Palin told
Us Weekly. "Yes, it improved the way I look, but this surgery was necessary for medical reasons ... so my jaw and my teeth could properly realign ... I don't obsess over my face."
Palin admits that she had the surgery in December 2010, after her successful run on 'Dancing with the Stars.' And apparently a 'misaligned jaw' was a godsend for Palin who is 'thrilled' with her new look.
"I am absolutely thrilled with the results," she said. "I look older, more mature, and don't have as much of a chubby little baby face!"
Might this new look have anything do to with the fact that we'll be seeing much more of Palin in the coming months? Palin will star in a
forthcoming reality show alongside 'DWTS' pal, Kyle Massey.

Role model for young girls???? SERIOUSLY!!! I don't think she's ever been a role model to anybody. Maybe if she'd quit with the plastic surgery then she could be a "role model" to her own kid. Last person I want my daughter to look up to. LOL. What a JOKE!

BS on it's to realign her jaw and teeth. Having a pointy chin does as much for a jaw as a thin, short nose helps with breathing.
Why do people feel so ashamed to admit they had plastic surgery? If you have the money, the time, and it's not illegal or hurting anyone else, why not do it if you want it? I wish stars or wanna-be stars like Bristol would just be honest about things like that because it's pretty normal for the rich to have plastic surgery because they want it and they can.

I don't like her so it's hard to admit but she was pretty. Her original face is beautiful. And the baby fat made her look soooo much younger. I'm always for the look that makes you look younger.

I saw it the first time they ran another article with this picture. Unless it is a bad photo - I like the before picture. Given a few more years and a good work out program she could have gotten better naturally.

Jealous much?! She had the surgery with money she rightfully earned. I thought she was a pretty girl before she had the surgery. I just wonder why on earth would anyone WANT to look older. She might feel differently when she's over 30.

I think it is possible it's exactly as she says. I had a friend who had the same surgery and it did change his appearance dramatically too. It makes sense that if her jaw was realigned that it would be make her chin protrude more. That in addition to losing some weight and having here eyebrows plucked has made a huge change in her appearance. I'm by no means a Palin supporter, (I think Sarah Palin is an idiot, and Bristol is riding the fame for the moment.)

Regardless the what or why; she looks great; don't hate the player hate the game; she has a lot of opportunities and yes she should take them. This is a result of the reality world and everyone has contributed!

Bristol just ruined her face and she can't get it back! It has made her look older than her years, like an old woman that had a poorly done facelift! Joan Rivers has had many facelifts, etc. and she looks better than Bristol!!! Bristol, what were you thinking???

Who cares?? If she thinks her jaw was misaligned and the surgery corrected it plus she looks more mature, so be it. Why should any else care and why should it matter if she is a role model? Or not?

I had a friend in school who had the same surgery she claims to have had, he clearly had an overbite, she didn't look like she had one and if she did, it wasn't nearly as severe as his..As for her getting some work done..good for her, she looks great, she was cute before, now she looks more finished. The hair also makes her look different. Who really cares if she had work done or not, if this makes her feel better about herself..You go girl..And no, I am not a fan of hers or her family..Can't stand the mother, although my husband thinks she hot, and she too is attractive, but can't we stop judging everyone by their looks. And if ya think she only had a jaw alignment and nothing else, I guess Michael Jackson only had two nose jobs as well..Let's just hope she's a good mom..
