Lindsay Lohan Tested Positive for Alcohol After Leaving Rehab

After Lindsay Lohan dodged trial Wednesday by pleading no contest in her ongoing jewelry theft case, it was revealed the actress failed an alcohol test in February--just one month after she was released from the Betty Ford treatment center, PEOPLE reports.

Lohan's probation report, which was released after her no contest plea on Wednesday, also stated that the 24-year-old 'Mean Girls' drank alcohol the night she snuck out of Betty Ford and got into a fight with a rehab employee. Interviews with local police and restaurant and club employees confirmed the suspicion.

"The probation officer believes that substance abuse is the root of the defendant's problems," the report said but Judge Stephanie Sautner disagreed and ordered Lohan to psychological counseling instead of more rehab. The actress will no longer be randomly tested for drug and alcohol use.

This does not impact the 120-day jail sentence that Sautner laid down on April 22 when she determined Lohan did violate her 2007 probation from a DUI arrest. She will likely serve a fraction of the sentence due to jail overcrowding and may even be placed on house arrest.

The 'Mean Girls' star is looking to get back to work on her comeback and was recently cast to play the wife of John Gotti Jr. in 'Gotti: Three Generations,' a biopic of the crime family. The film is scheduled to begin production later this year in New York.

Tired of seeing or hearing about miss Lohan on every single piece of media. She can't act. She can't do anything but get intoxicated or screwed up. That's where her real talent is. And unfortunately she is making a living at it.

Lindsay Lohan will never have to serve any time. House arrests means nothing to her because she will just sneak out and go drinking. I bet everybody will go see her movie because it has some great stars playing in it. So it's a win, win, for Lohan.

Well how long does she have to be on probation for? Seems like she's been on longer than most criminals. She probably enjoys the publicity because she hasn't done anything for years but violate probation. Just ignore her and maybe she'll go away.

it seems kind of funny to me that when some ( so called stars ) get in trouble they cant house them in jail...but let some poor person of any race get in trouble then theres plenty of room...i will bet anyone a hundred dollars that at least ten people was booked and housed in the same jail that was claimed to be over crowded...the legal system....what a joke...

Who really cares what she is doing? She's a "Has Been" in the film industry now that she's screwed her life up. It's quite a shame since she could have held on to a promising career. She might as well go and join Whitney Houston and they can chat about what they've lost together.

I have to agree. I would not waste my money or time
going to see her in anything.
I guess the justice system is going to wait until she
kills someone before they do any thing to her.
If that was you or me, or one of our kid's, they
wouldn't see day-light for 20 year's or more.........
