Rachel McAdams and Michael Sheen made their first red carpet appearance Wednesday afternoon at the Cannes International Film Festival, PEOPLE reports. The couple was promoting their new Woody Allen-directed film, 'Midnight in Paris,' which was showing at the festival.

"She's a genuinely lovely lady as well as being stunningly beautiful and very talented," Sheen, 42, told 'Entertainment Tonight Canada' about his girlfriend. The couple has been dating since last fall.

The 34-year-old actress wore a stunning red Marchesa dress that featured a five-foot long train--which Sheen made sure to keep straight as they greeted fans.

McAdams has famously dated 'The Notebook' co-star Ryan Gosling and actor Josh Lucas. Sheen has a daughter with ex Kate Beckinsale.

That's because she's only 32. For some reason there's always been speculation about her DOB. Certain sources say she was born in October '76 and other claim it's '78 (She also says she was born in 78) But either way, she does look great!

Sheen is a dreadful "actor" and Unthinkable is just another example of it! His american accent in it is LOL bad along with his usual over-the-top emoting. Sheen always reminds me of a 3 y/o learning to potty train when he's *cough* "acting".
