'American Idol' Censors Lady Gaga's Provocative Footwear

It wasn't just her larger than life comments that made for an interesting 'American Idol' appearance, Lady Gaga didn't try to tone down her wild style for the family friendly show either. 'Idol' producers had their hands full censoring the pop star, from the profanities coming out of her mouth straight down to her toes. Gaga showed up sporting a pair of her signature sky-high heels -- only this pair came with a naughty twist.

The shoes, by London brand Void of Course featured a clear Lucite heel molded in the shape of a penis. According to TMZ, producers had to cover the explicit shoes, which run for over $4,500 a pair, with an 'Idol' logo.

Gaga appeared on last night's 'American Idol' as a mentor to the remaining contestants, and while most of the hopefuls were excited to get pointers from the megastar, there was at least one who was less than thrilled. Lady Gaga had the ultra conservative Scotty McCreery squirming with some of her comments, including likening his microphone to a girlfriend who wants him to stick his "tongue down [her] throat."

Oh, so they should have role models like the Kardashians, Britney Spears, Lindsey Lohan, Paris Hilton, Bristol Palin . . . They could certainly do a lot worse for role models than Gaga

First time writing but couldn't let this go by. I'm a grandmother and was very upset to see Lady Gaga do her thing on American Idol in front of all the young children and teens that love to watch the show, including me. It was disgraceful. This is a family show and it's allowing this for what reason.

Everyone on here who says that this girl has no talent has clearly never seen her live or heard any of her striped performances. Lady Gaga is honestly the most talented musician in the industry right now. She can write her songs, play many different insturments, and sing incredibly well at the same time. This woman has nothing but talent. You can call her clothing strange or say that she is weird, but you can not call her talentless.

Have you seen her live or heard just her voice? I'm curious because I have and her singing sucks! Especially live! It's horrible! Although when she first came out she had one or two songs I liked, she always looked like a stupid idiot. Which she seems to be even worse anymore. She maybe a good song writer, but she's by far not the best. Gaga sucks and especially live!

Somebody needs to pull the plug on this one. She does not belong in the spotlight as a role moel for our children. She clearly has some serious issues that need professional attetnion. Anyone that idolizes her needs to get their own head checked ASAP!

She was horrible as an idol mentor - filthy mouth talking to teenage contestant. Definitely NOT a role model. Singing isn't even good and her performance was cringe-worthy. Straight out of a strip club. I felt sorry for the young children in the audience witnessing this fiasco. Shame on their parents and american idol for lowering it's standards with trash like her and pervert judges like steven tyler. So self absorbed! HATE the show - won't watch ever again - rigged anyway.

Why does Idol even have Gaga on the show when they have to censor every word and hid parts of her? She is not really even that good. This is a chance for the 'family' to sit and watch something together every week. Why did you have to go and ruin it with trash like her? God, are we ever going to have morals and family units again? We can't just accept everything and everybody who is trash, on t.v. I am mad at Idol for choosing her.

You know, the one's with the cop-killing, president-killing and degrading insults towards women. Wow, what a honor to have such entertainment at "the people's house"!
