Still? Chelsea Handler Pokes Fun at Kirstie Alley's Weight

Chelsea Handler has made it loud and clear that she can't stand 'Dancing With The Stars,' but did she cross a line when she made a fat joke about suddenly svelte contestant Kirstie Alley? Joy Behar hosted the 'Chelsea Lately' funnywoman on her HLN show on Wednesday and asked why she turned down ABC's offer to do 'DWTS.' Her reply? "Because I have a job."

Chelsea added that she thought the program was ridiculous and that she "can't even watch it!" Well, she then confessed: "I mean, obviously I had to watch when Kirstie Alley was on because I had to see what was going to happen to the floor, but ... (Laughter) ... I just ... I can't watch that show."

Ouch, Chelsea!

The ironic part about all this is that Kirstie has actually lost a TON of weight while starring on the hit show. Three weeks ago she told Us Weekly that she's lost "60 pounds, and I have 30 or 40 more to go" on her current diet.

George Lopez got into hot water recently after he made a fat joke at Kirstie's expense that he ultimately apologized for, but it's pretty obvious that if Kirstie expects an "I'm sorry" from Chelsea, she can think again.

"She hates me already," Chelsea told Joy. "She's mad because we make fun of her. She hates me ... well I know why she hates me and I sleep well at night so I'm okay with it."

A quick scan of her Twitter page reveals the fearless Kirstie hasn't struck back yet at Chelsea, but I have a feeling this isn't over yet!

Its pathetic that anyone whos grown, would feel the need to trash anyone else for a laugh, thats all chelsea has ever done.
I cant stand this horrible woman.
Chelsea is not fit to lick dog doo, off of Kristie's foot.

I have to agree -- I've never seen this person on TV, but wow, she certainly has some issues doesn't she! The other "stars" on DWTS have jobs -- so it would seem Chelsea can't dance, so this is her way out. I watch the show and Kirstie is amazing. She's 60 years old and is dancing just as well as the women/men 30 years younger.

Chelsea has the kind of face that evolves after cousins marry cousins for generations. Without makeup, it screams Deliverance. Poor thing...nobody even cares enough to point that out.

Behar and Chelsea are just mean spirited slobs and fall into the same sick camp. So I can't stand to watch either of them. I'll watch Chirsty dance any day.

I agree. I don't think Kristie will win but she has lost a bunch of weight and she is doing much better than I thought she would. As far as whats her name thinks, who cares what she thinks?

I know. I have been forced to watch that Chelsea show with my grown daughter and the woman is hard to take for more than a few minutes. Like a Mrs. Don Rickles. I get that they make jokes about things that aren't quite PC but personal attacks aren't funny to me. The woman needs to grow up. I don't think anyone would even now her if it wasn't for her shock value.

It's a shame that Chelsea feels that she has to put everyone down because she is so damn ugly and wants to take the spotlight off herself. Go girl,you are disgusting and probably can't get a real man, so you'll take anything that's available.
