From her videos and concerts to just walking though an airport in 12-inch heel-less boots, everything with Lady Gaga is a performance. So it's really no surprise that 'Inglourious Basterds' director Quentin Tarantino has so much faith in the 'Born This Way' singer's acting abilities that he wants her for a part in an upcoming film.

Tarantino and Gaga are both in Cannes, France, for its famed film festival, where Lady G performed last night for a star-heavy crowd that included Tarantino, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Johnny Depp, Uma Thurman and Kanye West.

"It's no secret Quentin's been eyeing up Gaga for a role in one of his up-and-coming films," a source close to Tarantino tells the Daily Mail. "And now they're both in Cannes, he's keen to show off his movie star credentials."

Whether he's eyeing Gaga for a part in his next feature, the recently announced 'Django Unchained,' starring Will Smith, or another of the many projects he has in the works is unknown.
